We are being taxed now to pay for free healthcare. Welfare is not promised us in the constitution either.
-
On the first question, yes we do have the right to affordable healthcare. No I do not believe it is a duty of the government to provide healthcare. But the government does provide healthcare to some at no cost to some. I do believe that it is a good idea at least, for the government to try and find a way to help all Americans obtain affordable healthcare instead of providing it free for some at the cost of others.
-
Wonder who the author would be?
-
I'll wait on the specifics before I pass judgement. Too many labels are put on things these days, often without reason. Affordable healthcare for everyone does not automatically mean socialized medicine. I have never heard her say "free"healthcare, only"affordable" healthcare for every american. Not a bad goal if its attainable. Our gov. has financed far more expensive less important undertakings than this. There has to be something better than what we have.
-
If you pay cash" directly", but if your ins. co. pays then you already have a socialistic intrusion because they tell you which dr.s you can see, what treatment is or is'nt neccissary, and how much of it they will pay for. Regardless of what your policy says. Of course if you do pay cash, you will pay a higher price than the ins. co. does. As I said, not much diff. I would still like to read her plan since she is the only candidate that has offered a solution so far. It may be too expensive and too intrusive, but neither has stopped uncle sam as of late from forwarding their agenda.
-
Have you read the plan? Me neither. Your missing my point. The need is not to provide healthcare for everyone. Its to make it affordable for everyone. There is no telling how much money people in this country owe doctors and hospitals that will never be paid. Not poor uninsured people, but people who have good jobs and make good wages. They pay as much as they can on medical bills but still their credit ratings suffer. This costs them in other ways and all the time they are paying as much as they can. Her plan may not be better than what we have, but as I said, we cant afford what we have now. And Im not convinced that hers will cost more. May be that we need some ins. reform. Could be that the diff. of opinion here could be rooted in the individuals healthcare needs.
-
Im not bitter about anything. Who does not get healthcare now, that will under her plan?
-
Not much. Those of us who work, pay taxes, have insurance, and pay our medical bills, foot the bill for those who dont. Dont forget where the gov. gets the money to pay for "indigent" healthcare. And it really does not matter if you cant get an app. , if you cant pay for or afford it.
-
people who dont work or cant work, get free healthcare now. What is the difference?
-
boy, that would be bad. Tell us how you figure that would happen.

From what I hear about Cville girls, this should be a good game.

must have been too cold and nobody came. lol

Sounds like the SR.s on the team may be the only clear winner in this deal.

I thought capping malpractice awards was gonna lower healthcare costs as well as insurance premiums. Her plan might not work. But what we have now is a joke. I have not heard any other feasable ideas. I do think it is a very important issue and the other candidates would be wise to offer up their own plan as a means of discrediting hers. By simply saying her plan is no good without offering a solution, is just sending the message that what we have is sufficient. I doubt you will hear much about any major changes in our current system from other candidates. It would not be popular with the insurance co.s and their lobbyists.

My daughter hits in the cage 3 or 4 times a week and on the field once a week through out the winter. She has an 06 Stealth. It has great pop off the bat. Has proven to be very durable even in cold weather. However, 4 girls on her team has the RocketTech. She hits deeper with the RocketTech for sure. The RocketTech is the hottest bat i have seen. I can tell you this, the only difference in the 06 and 07 is about $100 and one is red/blue and the other is red/silver. If your not partial to silver, you can save yourself $100 bucks. Hope this helps.

Who will win this one? I hear Clarksville is pretty good.

I wonder how long applications will be accepted. Anyone heard who has expressed interest? I would think alot of coaches would be interested. Theres a lot of good coaches in place and some good talent in all sports. A great superintendent, great school board, and great kids, who would'nt want this job?
-
Yes he would, that is a fact.Originally posted by soloGo with Nation-- He'll get 'em heated up

I think Rex Stone or Brian Nation would be great choices, if they were interested. Coach Ed or coach Stewart would both be good choices also, but they would still have to head up the baseball program. I dont think we could let them off the hook on that one.

Man eleven years is a long time for a coach to stay in one spot. Good luck to Coach Newton at his new job. Hope we find a good, qualified A.D.
