What is the playoff scenario for this district if CH, Chisum, and Rivercrest end up tied at 10-4. Does anyone hold any tie breakers?

They lost both there OC and DC over the summer and Davis had a hard time hiring people. I think he might be calling both side on the ball but not sure. Davis is a good coach and good man but it hard to do both. Good luck to the tigers. I guess Lonnie playing defense.bis Lonnie playing any offense.

Congrats to Coach Harmon and the Pirates on a successful season. Harmon will be missed next year at Pine Tree. Sometimes I wonder how you can get rid of a coach who lead a team to there 1st playoff series win in a decade and win 20 games. Also they had to overcome some injuries to some key players. I know the players are the ones who play the game but the coach has to put the player in the correct position. Congrats and good luck to Coach Harmon wherever you end up.

I agree with you Coach Reed about Harmon turning the program around. He has done a great job.

I really like Pine Tree Baseball Coach. Harmon has done alot for that program. I think he is class guy and Pine Tree will be losing a great baseball coach. Not to sure that the AD/HFC is crazy about baseball but sometime you get that with Football coaches. I feel that there are difference in position of AD/Head Football and Head Football/AD. The AD/HF is about the improving the WHOLE athletic program whereas the HF/AD is more about the football team and doesn't care about the rest of the programs. Good Luck to you Gus.

Why hate on baseball. Clarksville baseball program has been improving over the last 4 years. Yes it is true that there is not alot of support but that doesn't give you the right to hate on the Tigers Baseball Team. Just to let you know, there is about 4-5 guys that play on the Varsity Basketball Team that also play baseball. These are very talent athletes that work hard in every sport they play. Plus the baseball coach there know he has to wait and is very supported of the basketball team. He has said every year that if he doesn't get those kids till mid-March that they have accomplish something special and he is fine with that. So please don't bad mouth any of the athletic team at Clarksville. And just to let you know, the Basketball team has the #1 and #2 student in the senior class ranking. Good Luck to Clarksville.

Does anyone have any Basketball Tournament scores?

How does a 3a team beat a 1a team and it be called an upset. Especially when the 1a team only had about 3 days of practice. And when did Decatur start basketball? Congrats to Clarksville for coming it strong.

Does anyone know if this game will be on the radio that broadcast over the internet. I know if will be on KCAR 1350 AM in clarksville, but they don't broadcast online. What about Grapeland radio?

I will say this, there coach last night made it a point to talk to the ref's at every stopage of play. Really not sure what he was trying to accomplish but it seem to me he was trying to get calls to keep the game close.

Who is baseball coach in Hemphill? Also who is the new Head Football Coach and did he get the title AD?

Why did neither starting post player dress for the game? Was there any point where this affected the team?

Word is on the street that they had the job was posted if though the previous guy was not reassigned or resign. That very well maybe why they have not hire anyone yet because the previous guy was not gone yet. How can a job be posted without an official opening? Does not make the school board look very smart. Just my personal opinion

Got a question for someone to answer. How can a school post a job opening if the Coach they are replacing was still doing their duties as the Head Coach and has not be reassigned or resign from that position? Just a question I like to have answer.

I am telling you, knowing some coaches and have work at Hemphill since they divided it up, the Girl Coordinator doesn't answer to the Boys Coordinator, they both do there own thing with there respected program.

If you go back and look at it, it read Boys Athletic Director, which in turn mean the person that took the job would not be over all of the athletic, just the boys side, and then there would be another person over the girls side. If you look at Hemphill website you would see that they have a Boys and Girls Coodinator.

Like it was mention in an earlier post. The AD pos. is not tied to the Head Football Coach. The Head Football Coach is just the Boys Coordinator and there is a Girls Coordinator. The AD title is given to the High School Principal. Not to say they would hand this over the new Head Football Coach but I would think that might be a condition for taking the job.

It could be true that the job would not start till June because the job is for the Head Football Coach and Boys Coordinator. The Atheletic Director is not tied to this job. Last I heard the High School Principal also held the title as Atheletic Director. As far as the kids. I believe they do have a great group of kids and I feel Coach Hall did a Great Job for the 6 years he was there. I wish Coach Hall luck in whatever his future lead him.
