C'mon be real with yourself. When was the last time Texarkana had a high school( Texas side only) that went on to play college ball? Im talking D1 ball. I can only think of one and that was Josh Wheeler from LE but he chose football and with the acception of Shun Wren too who was probably the best player on the team and had a few D1 offers but grades/test scores held him back and surely doesnt have anything on those guys. Ok he's good, yea true, but good is average these days. He's only a junior but the kid only prolly has a career avg of 12 to 14 ppg. For a kid who yall praise so much and give so much credit to, I expect more. Carson and no one else will play D1 college basketball or college bball period. Now football, different story, especially with him playing running back and at a skool like LE that runs the ball 95% of the time. It is what it is.

Not on here to argue with you. Fact is Fact!!..I seriously doubt Tra Carson or anyone in the Texarkana area get a basketball scholarship just due to fact that it's east texas. Not "dissing" anyone but like I stated he hasn't shown anything or live up to the hype that most had giving to him coming into high school. I agree, he's a good kid but im not going to get on here and brag on how great a kid is if he haven't shown me anything and trust me, Im not the only one saying it. May just be the only one posting it on smoaky. If I offended you o'well but truth is truth. Lebron James lol, NO!!..No ones lebron james, but I sure bet i'll take it to any player on LE's varsity. Have to disagree on Tra Carson being as good as everyone thinks. He hasn't shown me anything especially since last yr where they were suppose to better than that regional final squad from the previous yr and lost to a Princeton team that had one kid who wasnt even that good of a dribbler and beat them by hisself easiy. After what i saw this year versus t high, LE basketball is not as good as everyone anticipated. Please stop saying Tra Carson is this and that , he hasn't proved it. I know you guys are fans and like the kid(I do myself) but please be honest with yourself. Watson and Clark have been the most consistent since last yr so I would have to give it to them as being the best players. With that said, LE should win district because PG lost their main threat in the guard that graduated. THe other guys dont play with much heart as he did except for Graves who will probably be the reason PG beats LE cause LE's BIG MAN are terrible and I mean TERRIBLE!!!..Best bet is to start the Houff kid , he has more heart/toughness than anyone on the team.. Boys:1. LE 2. PG 3. Whoever Else

I agree, Lovejoy will give LE all they want!!.LE better be ready for their passing game and QB scrambling and tryna make plays along with the RB..Michael Means(QB, think he's #16) and Blake Martin(RB #23) will give LE problems but from what I heard, they score most of LJ tds. Im pretty sure its other kids that have impacts but if LE shuts them down they have pretty good chance of winning. TO be honest, I don't think LJ can handle LE's run game wit Tra Carson carrying the load along with the Webster kid. ANd most of all the WR Marquez Clark!!! he's gonna be dangerous in the secondary and special teams. I look for the LE QBs to scramble pretty well. Overall LE will win this game cause of SPEED and overall more talent. THeir 6-4 record is VERY decieving!!! This team had Gilmer beat along with about 1 or 2 other teams they lost to. LE should win if they come and play like they should!!!!..HOPE THEY DO!!...GOOD LUCK!!

Trust me LE will be ready and focus. These guys want it. THey have too much talent to lose. If they come and play hard like they're suppose to , they're gonna win easily. LETS GO LEPS!!!..we're used to ppl doubting us and we always seem to come out on top and keep moving. IF LE comes out and play like they should no one will beat them in the playoffs. THey are very capable of beating prosper, abilene wylie, and Gilmer if they played them in the State Championship!

Simple and Clear: Pitt will not beat LE Leps too strong!!! LE by 2 or 3 tds...

PG should be ok but they will miss threatt , broades, and wacha. THeir ability to bring in athletes off the bench(that could have started easily) was the key to their sucess with the exeption of Threatt. Watts and Reid does not have what Threatt had but will be ok. Graves will have to step up BIG TIME in the paint. He will be the key. Also look out for Lamarkus Banks..This guy is a true athlete and IMO the best player at PG. He didnt play last yr due to grades but he will be a great asset for them this yr. LE should also reach the Regional Finals easy but it just depends if they want it or not. Lack of heart showed last yr and its showing in fb this yr but hopefully it doesnt carry over to basketball cause these kids have a really BIG chance to do something GREAT!!!..They return absolutely everyone on their squad and shouldn't have no problems with experience..THey should win both contest this yr in district against PG. Keywords: SHOULD!!

I just have to be honest: Im a LE homer and Love my Leps but these guys just can't seem to put it together. Yea they seem to always come out with energy and toughness in the 1st half , but after that, they go completely down. I watched the Nashville game and N'ville was maybe ok(nothin against N'ville but based on past N'ville teams, they were the worst). LE's defense is not Great like many are talking. To me it seems like no one wants to hit anymore. Many of you LE fans are talking about what LE will do or what they're gonna do but they just haven't seem to done it yet. Most of these kids seem to be worried bout going D-1, as they say, than getting the job done on the field. Some of them are not D-1 caliber players like they think. All the individuals stars for LE some have metioned on here just dont seem to have HEART IMO(with maybe the exception of Clark, Webster bros, and some of the Lineman). I recalled one of LE's principals saying the exact same thing while watching the N'ville game. This is not typical LE football. LE is known for great athletes/speed and heart/toughness year in year out. Idk wats going on but this yrs team has me on my heels every game no matter what the other team record is or how weak their schedule has been. Clark's good but the Banks kid from PG is every bit as much as an athlete he is. THey are the best athletes in this district. I think QB Graves will be the key to this Game along with the rest of the main players. If he gets time and able to make passes and make runs LE will be in trouble. Graves is every bit as good as Stump from gilmer. They're both bout the same size and strength. I also read that LE is more physical than PG. Almost all the coaches at LE will tell you every yr they play PG, PG seems to always be more physical. PG will have their hands full though. With this said, I'll Take LE by a touchdown or 2!!! BTW, Reid kid at LE is from arkansas. Went to PG for a couple of yrs and his cousin, former LE player Jermaine Waller, convinced him to come to LE. GO LEPS!!!

I don't understand why PG schedules such a weak pre-season. YOu guys seem to have had a good two yrs already. Yall have earned some respect and somewhat opened people's eyes to recognize you but at the same time playn weak opponents in pre-season just to say you're undefeated headed into district play is not a good way to earn more respect... ..not bashing or anything but if you guys feel that yall are so good...why not try and schedule some games against some GOOD opponents such as Gilmer or even make a trip to a neutral site to play a good team in texas that we all hear about around the state??...even play some good 4a schools besides Pinetree(sorry but not a quality 4a fb team)
