  1. I've studied the scriptures, and I would say Jesus Christ would be a conservative. I could provide many scriptures on this aspect. While Jesus Christ was on this earth, He did not become involved in politics. His Higher Kingdom is coming, but He and His Father have always allowed for men to rule the world in the manner they see fit. The day is coming that God will not stand idly by, and will take direct control of this world and it's misdirected ways.
  2. I'll look at the bright side, perhaps this will reduce Democratic voters in the future. I don't care if abortion is legal, I just don't want tax payer money going to support it. Oh well, let them deal with the guilt, depression, and sorrow that abortion brings as shown by studies. I just think that women and girls that were raised right, won't attempt to seek abortions as a birth control method.
  3. This is the link I found on it. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/04/15/o...-r_n_96690.html I think this is ridiculous. This new administration is going to change the American way of life for the bad.
  4. Then you haven't played the great game of Football. I understand that there's one more game to be played in the football season. I love the sound of a baseball being caught in a mitt. I love the smell of rosin, pine tar, cut grass, and the sound of "haaawwwt daaawwgs", but that's nothing like hearing a stampede of men after a kickoff. I never got the same effect with a hockey face off. Crack/Swish.
  5. If you would have said that in the beginning, there wouldn't be a debate.
  6. The crunch of helmets and shoulder pads, with the smell of grass being torn from it's roots in your cleats.
  7. Big Red Fan, I see where this thread is going. I have to agree with Blue and Bleeds on this. I purchased an extended warranty with my second computer, and it outlived the warranty by a month. There aren't any lemon laws when it comes to computers. I know that we all want to purchase quality products, when we make our purchases. When purchasing on credit you make a commitment to pay your bill. It doesn't matter, if the product stopped working before you "owned" the product. You still have to make good (PAYMENTS) on your purchase, whether they work or not.
  8. I think I'm a lot younger than you, because those two songs grate me. I'd rather watch this dance, than hear those songs : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nx1TWk-V4P0 . It's Steve Perry's birthday so, "When You Love A Woman" : When you find her, it's a symphony in your head, and your life. It's as Loverboy said "Lovin' Every Minute Of It" :
  9. Hmmm, I suppose BHO forgot the Bridge collapse in Minneapolis. That was due to the age of the bridge. The collapse of these bridges because rank amatuers will be building them will be much higher. There is a reason that people are "chronically unemployed", they don't want to work. Clawsnstripes is right about this.
  10. He's had one base hit in my book, none of his cronies are being paid. But 1-6 isn't a good average.
  11. I have a Gateway GT5468. I have not had any problems with it in 4 1/2 years. I defragment my files and sometimes do a system restore just to clean out cookies. I've had great luck with it. I have about 50 games, and 700+ CD's downloaded, and it still has plenty of memory in the tank. I have broadband, and it downloads everything quick. True it might be time for an upgrade, but it serves it's purpose. I'll keep it until goes out. I found with other computers that it's cheaper to buy a new one, than fix the old one. I had an HP for 2 years and the motherboard went out. I took it to have it replaced, and found it was only $100 more to get a new one with twice the memory. I've been really happy with my Gateway. If I bought a new one, it would probably be a HP.
  12. I should have commented on the school menu and the school. When I saw the pinto's comment, it made me hungry. I have a problem with the BHO children going to a private school, however they will probably be a distraction wherever they go to school. I'm sure that they could pay a private teacher $45,000, and they would eat better in the White House. I realize that kids need interaction with other kids. This is showing some elitism though. I know if I were a kid, I'd be taking a brown bag to school everyday. Give me a ham or pb&j sandwich with a bag of doritos, when I was there age. I rarely ate school caferteria food, unless it was the fried burrito's. I wouldn't even eat Sloppy Joes. Lunch Lady Land - Adam Sandler :
  13. I see this same vision. If I wanted to live in England, I'd already be there. Fivehead, we're are growing closer and closer to that day.
  14. This happens all the time in baseball, except no one is guaranteed a roster spot. I remember Vince Papale long before the movie. I still have three of his football cards. I know the Cowboys found Toni Fritsch in a tryout of soccer players. If they're good then they should get a roster spot.
  15. It's a great song. "Spooky" isn't the ARS best song, but it's one that most people hear. That's what is sad about DJ's.
  16. This song was penned by Mac Davis who's birthday is today. After seeing the National Mall's pictures, this is what I am thinking "In The Ghetto" - Elvis Presley : . I have to pay homage to a great D.J., and I would probably not know of this song if it weren't for Bob Sturm. If it weren't for "Mexican Radio"- Wall of Voodoo : , would we have appreciated music that was spun by "Wolfman" Jack who also inspired a Guess Who song with "Clap for the Wolfman" : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOVfqwuiYtA . Happy 70th Robert Weston Smith.
  17. So is Wolf Brand Chili. They must know something.
  18. Gosh for darn, darn. I thought this was going to be promotion for another Texas product. The only beans that I eat are refried, green, and Ranch Style from Dennison, Texas.
  19. I've looked at this picture several times, and I am truly saddened. The most horrible thing is the person in the wheel chair. Where is the compassion in victory ? I have been to the Mall on two occasions as a tourist, this is a travesty.
  20. This was the main crux of the article : The program Arnold developed included "in-depth exploration of depictions" of homosexuality in mass media; several homosexual-themed films, documentaries, books and novels; internet research on "the nature of homophobia"; and a "homophobia questionnaire" coupled with a "heterosexual questionnaire" designed to take questions "commonly asked of homosexuals and ask them of heterosexuals" - e.g., "When did you decide to become heterosexual?'" I know why I'm heterosexual. I don't understand the rest of society that isn't. There are some things I don't understand. Andrew Dice Clay made an analogy to it in one of his stand up routines. It's not normal to me. I realize that the lifestyle that they live is becoming more prominent in society. Do I like it ? No, is there a cure for it ? I think so, but when you hear about homosexuality at least 4 times a week. I want for the madness to stop. What has created this influx of homosexuality in our society ? That's why I brought up "formula" and perhaps the Oedipus Complex. I wish all people were heterosexual, unfortunately they're not. Is it because their parents didn't discuss chastity and the ramifications of sexual conduct ? Did they just say "It's a phase they're going through, they'll get over it.", and not address the issue ? Something happened that made them choose to be homosexual/lesbian. I don't think people are born homosexual. How many times do I have to say that I've talked to homosexuals, and from what I hear from them it's about hedonism. I'm not some crazy loon that just spews gobbledy-gook on SDC. I wish we had a perfect society, but we don't. That's what life is about. We're here to overcome the hurdles, and our mistakes in life. I don't wish the homosexual community death. I want them to realize, that they're mistaken in their sexual identitiy.
  21. Kurt is a role model on the field and off the field. It should also be mentioned that he was the League M.V.P. in 1998, and the Super Bowl M.V.P. for Super Bowl XXXIV. Kurt should be in the H.O.F. when he desires to retire. He's proven himself to be classy not only on the field, but off the field. He has done a lot of charity work that makes him a winner, in more ways than one.
  22. I think Aikman was wrong on one thing. Watching game film, practicing, and getting ready for a big game takes away from being prepared. This is similar to not studying for a test. Romo may know the playbook like the back of his hand. However, he had only played against the Giants 3 times. He should have been worrying about the new things they would throw at him.
  23. I don't know of any woman that would put up with it. It's hard enough keeping one woman happy, good luck on keeping two happy. Why anyone would want to marry an animal or have anything else to do with an animal is beyond me. Cheese and crackers there are too many freaks in this world.
  24. I like the shout outs for A.J. Foyt, George Foreman (can we add Jack Johnson the Galveston Giant), Lance Armstrong, Babe Didrikson-Zaharias, Ben Hogan, Rogers Hornsby, Lamar Hunt, and Earl Campbell. Thinking about just golf, which I don't play Babe, Ben, Sam, and Byron should overshadow some golf course in Texas.
  25. :notworthy: :notworthy: :happy65: :bounce: So true, so true. As to LV78's comment, you're right on. I bet there aren't any missing O's or B's on the keyboards, the way the W's were removed from the keyboards by the Clinton Staff.
