  1. Biden deserves to be made fun of, he's the President of the United States. Cry me a river.
  2. Nothing that hasn't been done before. Even before 1970, parents would pose their kids with a cigarette in one hand and a beer in the other.
  3. A large drink for under $3, what planet are you living on now ? The only place I see a large fountain drink for less than $2 is 7-11. Any bottled or canned drink is over $2 and that's for 12 - 16 ounce drinks. The only way I drink Dr. Pepper now is to fill up my rinsed out Powerade bottle and fill it up at work for free. I don't even buy brand name chips anymore, because they are all over $2.29 and they don't even make Big Grabs anymore that I've seen on shelves that were $1.59 before Biden.
  4. It's been that way for a while if you get a combo even just a Whataburger. Sonic's Brown Bag Special that I remember in 1986 was $3.99 for 2 Sonic Burgers, 2 Fries, and 2 Medium Drinks is now $15.99 and that's a special ? I went to McDonald's Monday, because I haven't at their in a long time. A Hamburger, a Cheeseburger, a small fry, and a hot fudge sundae was $9.49. When Trump was in office that was only $4.79. On top of that, they really don't have someone on the front counter anymore with a kiosk to make your order and pay there. It doesn't accept cash though. When I worked at McDonald's back in 1985 if we didn't have your order out in less than 2 minutes they gave the guest a coupon for a free french fry. I only remember those being given out rarely at the drive thru.
  5. I plan on working as long as I can. While I'll work fewer hours if I can, I'd be bored if I didn't have a job to go to. This has been the slowest Spring Break that I have seen at my workplace in 17 years, except for the Spring Break of 2020 when they wouldn't let us go to work. During that two months, I completely hated it even though I still did a few things that we were allowed to go out and do. I didn't even get into Retiredfan1 and Kirt's past time : Golf is booming because of the pandemic | CNN
  6. Reminds me of this commercial in the 70's :
  7. I've already stated this well known fact that almost every President and Vice President that have served have done this before. The Dims want to do anything they can to stop Trump from running, and they have used every tool in their power to bring him down.
  8. I think they're set in their ways just as many black voters are. Trumps numbers don't lie for ways he worked for All Americans to get a job. It wasn't until local and some State Democrat leaders undermined what he did because of the Wuhan. I think he should concentrate on his accomplishments on what he did before late February and early March of 2020, and not the mess that happened after America was infected by the China virus.
  9. From what I read this morning Duty, Honor, Country will still be the Motto of West Point. They are only changing their slogan. West Point military academy drops 'Duty, Honor, Country' from mission statement (aol.com) . I think Sgt. Oz only read the headline.
  10. Yet Barry thinks that teachers aren't grooming. This is a prime example of it. 3rd graders worried about their sexuality ? Most of those that age still think the other sex has cooties. I don't even think they should have these types of clubs at any school level before college. Even sex education should just be about the basics and how to prevent unwanted pregnancy.
  11. It works in some fields of employment, but not all. For instance the first profession that comes to mind is firefighters. Many F.D.'s only work three days straight and then four days off. Airline Pilots only work 3-4 days a week. It would never happen with 95% + of most jobs especially farmers which are on duty 24-7 - 7 days a week.
  12. Recently I watched BBC's "Merlin" and many of the characters were of African descent. We're talking about the 5th or 6th Century, but to be inclusive they chose to portray that era as having Guinevere as similar to Meghan Markle. Perhaps it was a nod to Prince Harry, and so that African British would watch the program. It didn't take away from the performance or show, but as with Uther and Arthur Pendragon it may have been fictionalized as well. I prefer to keep things historically accurate though. Show it the way it was or "might" have been. It was the same with "Spartacus" a series that I watched recently.
  13. This clown actually voted for Romney ? I shouldn't have voted for McCain in 2008, because I had seen how RINO's had taken over the GOP. After the Romney nomination it was time to clean house and get back to basics as Trump has brought us. If he wins this year he will restore what damage Biden has done to America and Americans.
  14. Yes, I even posted on David Lee Roth's wall asking him if he wanted to go play poker with the gangs as he did Baby Doc and Prosper or go see the Voodoo Queen that blessed him with one of the loves of his life. He liked my post, because I wrote me neither. Haiti has been a what Trump said since Papa Doc was in charge. While they once had the corner on the making of Rawlings baseballs back in the 70's and 80's. They moved to Costa Rica. What baseball owes Haiti | | phillytrib.com My step son was stationed there in the 90's and he called it what Trump called it 20 years before Trump did. There is a legend that Haiti was dedicated to the satan in 1791. Haiti and The History of Voodoo | Allithea...
  15. 9,2,8,5,1,4,12,3,6,7,10, and 11.
  16. It was a good movie. I give it four out of five stars. I forgot how much I enjoyed the acting of Yul Brenner, Steve McQueen, James Coburn, and even Robert Vaughn. Eli Wallach if you remember him always portrayed both a good and bad guy on film. I always liked Charles Bronson movies growing up. I liked how Chris (Yul) sized up his team and the different talents and skills that each man brought to his team. Of course he had already seen their skills in action, except the one wild card that they all agreed to bring on board played by Horst Buchholz who was in the sequel. I did get suckered into watching "The Return of The Magnificent Seven", and sequels were just as bad back in the day. It was just a rehash of the first, with only a few spins and with the FX of the 60's there wasn't much to retell an already told story.
  17. Put a red mark on that one. Then again with the teaching skills that I've seen in the past 20 years, it's all how you write.
  18. It seems that you and many Principal's in the HISD are putting your students to sleep. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/mike-miles-puts-nearly-half-of-hisd-principals-on-notice-for-low-performance/ar-BB1jA7qd?ocid=msedgntp&pc=HCTS&cvid . Stop being friends with your students, and teach them what they need to learn, instead of bringing your personal life into the equation. The teachers and principal's should be concentrating on the task at hand, which is teaching students the subjects they are learning instead of making it a happy hour for the students to placate them. If you don't think I saw the same thing when I was in school, then you are sadly mistaken. Be an inspiration to kids, instead of trying to grease the wheels.
  19. That's exactly why I stated power companies would never do that. Some barely make a profit, even though many think with their prices that they would be raking in millions. The problem is Green Government Regulations that cost millions of dollars for each plant.
  20. I think it would be funny if they found out she voted for Sean Teare. If they do, then it would show that they can manipulate votes as well as know who every citizen voted for. The last part is scary for every American voter.
  21. It sounds as if it's your party that is the fascists, but just as with the Russian Revolution you are okay with it as long as your party wins.
  22. That happened in Harris Co. too except they ran out of ballots in Republican leaning districts. Trump had a peaceful protest about these rigged elections, and he's a threat to Democracy when in fact it is the Democrats that are a threat to Democracy with these types of voting problems for Republicans.
  23. The only thing I agree with out of this paragraph is the open border that Biden is allowing and allowing people in willy nilly without vetting them first.
  24. Many countries that we are sending money to for foreign aid wouldn't send one troop to defend America. Take for instance Ukraine. We were even sending money to North Korea until 2008, and we're still sending them food the same with Hamas. If anyone thinks that the aid being sent to Hamas is only going to the people then they are sadly mistaken. Hamas is taking most of it for their own fighters while their people still starve. The same with North Korea.
  25. You're being mileading by omission however on school choice. Sure it's there, but it comes with a price tag. Homeschooled children's parents still have to pay property taxes to the school that their home is in the boundary of. So they can't use that money to buy books or other resources to teach their kids at home. The same with private schools they pay their local school taxes and the tuition to the private schools. Vouchers would remove that added cost, and it would give people an incentive to home school. That is why many voters are pushing this with politicians.
