  1. 2 all-staters from gladewater. a french horn and a clarinet. woot!!!:smileybanger:
  2. I don't buy into luck or happenstance. I believe in hard work, practice, and execution. Yes, bad bounces are going to happen, but you put yourself in position to make the play. In my words "Luck runs dry, skill and preparation make a winner". Talent is a gift, but talent doesn't make a Team. Texas has always had talent and some some skillfull players, but they couldn't mesh as a Team. I see the same thing with the :yankees:, alot of talent, alot of skill, but they're not blending. yes, skill and preparation get you there. " Luck is where preparation and oppourtunity meet". never meant to say that it is all about luck. no team has every won a series on pure luck. but, a smidge here and there and you and your team is on a roll.
  3. didnt the yanks and the d-backs win there series the year after showalter left??? :hmmm: mabye it is the rangers turn.:texrangers:
  4. what about the dolphins head coach, nick saban. he has really turned that program around.
  5. So you hated the Diamondbacks signing RJ? And the Rangers signed A Rod? The Yankees didnt sign either one of them. Yes. i hated to see the rangers pay someone that kind of money when they could of tried for a couple of durable pitcher. stupid signing
  6. hamburger helper and ramen noodles. all collge kids ever eat
  7. merry christmas from g-water:clap:
  8. my vote goes for ol' eddie van halen. i especially love the song "Hot for Teacher". great guitar riffs
  9. This will be a tough decision for zito. he really wants to pitch somewhere where his curveball will be effective. The winds at shea will give him a definite advantage. the rangers will almost have to break the bank to seal this deal.
  10. in a perfect world, i would have to say gladewater in 3a. but, more realistically, i think carthage will rise again.
  11. i think they wil have very few problems. especially since the pitching coach from navarro is there.
  12. this staff, if they sign clemens, will be one of the most potent rotations of all time. everyone will have already won a cy young or will win one. the yanks will be a major force to reckon with.
  13. that would realy go a long way to fill the hole when gmj left.
  14. if anything, the rangers should try for some older, more battle tested vetearan pitchers. go after maddux.
  15. i think it will come down to dallas and new orleans. it will all depend if romo can continue his excellence. he had his first "rough outing" against the giants yesterday. but a rough outing for him is still better than most in the nfc. :dalcowboys:
