  1. A few years back I'd have to say Brownsboro was the worst, because of the wood, but until your forced to a power wheelchair y'all don't understand what bad bleachers are. I go to a lot of games and I'm sure they are probably worst places out there, but the visitors side at Palestine Westwood is by far the worst. The ramps are way too high & too short probably a 60 to 65 degrees to about 8 ft long and no place to park a wheel chair, the gang way is just too narrow. I had park by a stinking trash can to be out of the way of others and have my son lean on the back on exit to keep from flipping over forward due to the steep grade.
  2. I hear you....wish we had a video of the pep rallies back in the day.
  3. :icon_eek: Thats not right or fair to the kids. I hate that for y'all. Bullard only has them on home games too. They say it takes away from teaching time. They do what they call pep rally schedule on those Fridays, which is they take about 10 minutes off each classes time. I'm so tired of all the traditions being taken away from the kids.
  4. Prayers from Bullard......I'm sitting here with tears streaming down and my heart in my throat, I didn't know your dad. But I am for sure of the love a man has for his son/family. Be strong young man, God bless you, sister and the rest of your family.
  5. JV: Athens 30 - Bullard 3 Final :icon_eek:
  6. :icon_eek: Whoa! I've never heard of such a thing. Fire a coach six games into his first season, this is high school football, could maybe understand if it was the MLB, NBA, NCAA OR even THE NFL. Hard to turn a program around that fast. I want to win as much as the next guy, but firing a coach that fast isn't fair at all.
  7. Make that three sons on the varsity, a QB, the other two are WR's and DB's. The QB is a SR. the other two are Soph. twins.
  8. Thanks folks, our boys gave their all, but y'all just got it going on.
  9. Freshman: Chapel Hill 47 - Bullard 0 Final JV: Bullard 21 - Chapel Hill 0 Final / BHS JV/ Record 5-2

  11. Yeah. I bet......I know what you got over there.......a secret factory for building cyborg football players...lol
  12. Well guys :notworthy: Geez, I've never, ever seen that many huge kids on team in my whole life. What a stadium!! You guys got it going on. Yeah, I know we got work to do, but I don't remember any turnovers on our side on the ball last night and thats a biggie. You guys could score at will, with little effort. As I said before we don't / didn't ever quit. As for the average size I'm not sure, smallest is 5' 5 ish 140lbs the largest 6'6 240/250. Your coach showed what us what you got, got ahead, then put in the subs, would have been ugly if not for that. See y'all next time, but warn the visitors in advance about the jumpers instead of scaring the poo out of a bunch of girls. I'm still and will always be very proud of our panthers. Good chatting with eagleborn/eagle 8 on here. I wish y'all good luck in the future
  13. Obviously, you have never been to the new panther stadium, Obviously, you haven't seen our new gear yet, Obviously, you haven't seen this proud bunch of rabid panthers fans lately, Obviously you have the winning history no doubt there, Obviously, tonight your gonna see just how much we believe and how much desire we have to win. Tonight win or lose, we will prove Bullard's football panthers are not anyones doormat anymore. See you there.
  14. We have like 594 or so in school: Really, what I was talking about was the numbers that actually came out to play ball. You guys got a huge varsity roster in more than one way and then 2 different JV teams, plus the fresh. We don't have near that many.
  15. Tatum takes two from Bullard: JV : Tatum 35 Bullard 21 F Fresh: Tatum 30 Bullard 28 F
  16. Guys, Guys let's keep this civil. We all know Tatum is the favorite here, but Don't overlook what the Panthers are doing, we don't have ya'lls numbers, size and speed. We have to use what we do have and what we do have is a young group of athletes with heart, that won't get scared, that won't quit, that won't roll over, that won't go away, that will come after you all night long. We are miles ahead of the years past. Will be win ...maybe, maybe not. Look, we can't blame you guys for being proud of your eagles, we are just as proud of our panthers, remember these are young kids. If you remember the peewee football brawl from the other day, we are the adults here and contrary to popular belief WE ARE FRIENDLY RIVALS NOT MORTAL ENEMIES. Good Luck we'll see you Friday. :highfive:
  17. Although Athens is real talented this year, they shouldn't over look the red devils. They run a real complicated offense that has some real tricky dicky stuff going on. Those little running backs get lost in the sea of huge linemen and then pop out in flat running full bore.
  18. Prayers from Bullard :icon_eek: We've seen that all to often this year. You expect a football player to be carried out every now and then, but seems more band members are falling out than I've ever seen. I hope & pray both of these fine youngsters will be OK.
  19. :notworthy: JV - Bullard 31 Wills Point 0 Final Record 4-1 Freshman lost to Huntington by a TD, don't know the actual score. record 0-4
  20. I agree he has several good points here and his comment kinda makes more sense now. He just got me steamed, with the part "If your kid was any good". You just don't say that stuff about any kid. I never said anything about a championship or stuff like that, but I think he know me because my boy did win several of those, but that don't have jack to do with HS ball. If he does know me, he also knows even though I was bummed about putting him on JV, I accepted his decsion and never, ever said or did anything but back the coaches and the program here. The question that bothers me why so many schools in 13 years of coaching? And YES I am a Dad....the kind that backs his son to the bitter end, but also backs the coach when boy wonder screws up.
  21. :nowhearthis: Look Jack Wagon, That is by far the lowest, smart butt statement I have ever heard about a hard working bunch of kids. With talk like that your a embarrassment to any player that ever put on a uniform, especially a Texas football player. I don't give a rats behind if your a peewee starting out to the sub varsity you mention, the players deserve respect because they're out there representing their school with pride and respect like you should have for them. Mr. Hoosier, you have a right to your opinion here, but when it disrespects half the kids in the great state of Texas, I take offense. Big Tex himself would be ticked off at your attitude here, he could find a new parking place for his right boot....These kids deserve a Apology a gosh darn Big One..... :icon_eek:
  22. It's a great idea to buy a program no matter where you go, if you can't afford $2 for a program you shouldn't be going anyway. You think it's easy for these kids to ask for money from strangers? Some kids programs struggle, they're trying to EARN MONEY HONESTLY......why not help? What's $2
  23. I agree with the coach, they choose to do the wrong thing & should pay the price. Team comes first. They should have manned up. But in all honestly I've never seen kids put in as many hours at school as the kids of today do. My son gets to school by 6:45 am to lift, then first practice, then all his classes, then tutorials and then football practice ends around 7:00PM. Average of 12 hours a day. Thats a lot of hours for a kid.
