  1. Exactly. It's great for the FB team, for the fans it can be a whip. .
  2. Congratulations to Mineola on a well earned state championship. You played a great game last night! Yoakum's D was pretty salty and did well to keep them in the game. Keeping Mineola from scoring after that first half fumble was huuuuge at the time. You get down two scores to Mineola and their D starts to smell blood in the water. Very impressed with Yoakum 47. Big, fast, hard to tackle. I thought Yoakum would have used him more than they did, but I'm sure their staff knows better than I how to manage their kids' PT. Anyway, 47 reminds me of the RB Carthage had the year they beat Celina for the state championship, though 47 didn't get the chance to take over the game last night. And, he chased down Mineola 8 on a long run so that is really impressive.
  3. Pott's first drive was pretty impressive but they turned the ball over on downs inside Min's 10.After that, they were pretty much outgunned. Min's O & D lines dominated, consistently playing beyond the LOS. After last week's close game vs Howe, I'm a bit surprised Min put that big a whoopin' on Pott.
  4. Interesting game. Mineola scores on their first drive and looks like they're about to put up a fifty burger. Howe figures things out on D and holds Min to one more TD in the half. Second half, Howe scores on their first drive, recovers an onside kick, drives inside Min's 20, but misses a FG. Howe possessed the ball for all but ten seconds of the 3rd quarter! Min finally pulls away on a crazy 50 plus yard run with about 5 minutes in the 4th.
  5. Sunnyvale struggled because of poor field position in the first half. They adjusted well at halftime but Mineola's O line and ground game was just too much to overcome.
  6. so far this playoff season, staffing has not been great at Jerrah World. long lines to buy tickets and enter the stadium, combined with traffic can easily cause you to miss a good part of your game. plan to add an hour to your travel time. if you get there early, it's always better to be waiting in the stadium than waiting in line.
  7. my football friend does not do well in the cold so he loves the playoff games @ at&t stadium. great games, but i hate the environment, traffic, paying for parking, the absolute mess of trying to walk through the concourse, and everyone starring in their own movie to get some face time on the vidjaboard. it's a beat-down of the highest order.
  8. 20 @ 635 is gonna be jacked because of mall traffic. once you get on 635, it's gonna be jacked. once you get on 75... if you're adventuresome, try this. 30 west, go past 635 to exit 48A. i beleive the signage is carrol ave. once you exit, stay on the service road and cross the carrol ave intersection. after carrol, get in the right lane and look for peak street. turn right (north) on peak. you're going through the hood but y'all are east texas tuff so you'll be okay. continue on peak for a good bit. after ross ave the road will curve left, become lemmon ave, and intersect with 75. get on 75 going north, exit @ mockingbird. the stadium will be to the west.
  9. You have a great facility in RC but if you want people to watch the game on the vidja board, they may need binoculars to see clearly.
