  1. I can't see the lemonade being acidic enough to affect the stones, so I suspect recommending it is merely a way to get people to drink more. And like someone said above, most kidney stones are idiopathic anyway.
  2. I'd take 15 kidney stones at once over the pain I experienced when I ruptured 2 disks and the kidney stone I had completely blocked my right ureter. My doc said that lemonade is good as a preventative. Also, many people think they drink enough because they focus on input rather than output. Drink enough to produce at least 2 quarts of urine daily.
  3. I love the Beltre signing. But then again, I've never been a Michael Young fan.
  4. Hmmm... never had grilled brim. In fact, I haven't had brim in probably 30 years. How do you season your grilled fish?
  5. He's pretty good with the glove. Of course, fielding is the bulk of practice for him. He enjoys long toss, mainly because he wants to field the throw, but I didn't want to do it if it's too early.
  6. Interesting thread. I wish I knew more about guns to participate.
  7. It cracked me up last night when Wash touched his head. Did anyone else see that?
  8. I'm a man! I'm forty!

  9. I still haven't met anyone that's finished it. It's strange too, because everyone I know that's bought it has enjoyed it.
  10. No, but "on July 1, 1990 Andy Hawkins tossed 8.0 innings of no-hit ball at old Comiskey Park, only to lose 4-0 after a pair of outfield miscues late in the game."
