I watched the scrimmage @ NB this moning and I think many people will be surprised at the depth at QB for NB ... they have 3 QBs that could start at several schools in 17-2A...

I think QC might surprise some people this year.

How did that happen? Pewitt's freshman (JV) team lost one game last year and it was to QC, they beat New Boston. This is correct. PP beat NBs JV not Freshman... sorry i was so confusing

Yea they were the only team to beat NB's Freshman squad last year ... pretty good game

NB lost game three 3-2. Lady Lions were leading 2-1 going in to the top of the 7th and the Patriots rallied back to score two runs. I think NB left two people on in the bottom of the 7th just couldnt get them in. Great job by both teams.

That McKiney kid from HS has got a CANNON, if he can hit his spots and get his curve going i dont see many teams hitting him.

Yea they are pretty good but they havent really played anyone this year ... guess we'll see thursday

I think the younger girls got the "play-off jitters" out in the first game. Believe me all of these girls have played enough ball in their young lives... they know a thing or two about how the game is played.

Gilmer played a good NB (2A) team and tied 6-6 but "won" by default ... dont see them bein that competetive in 3A ... i hope they can prove me wrong.
