Gilmer Lost one starter and return all three of there pitchers in Cotton, Stanley, and Ashley, plus there lineup is very good i look for gilmer to win the district championship finally again in baseball. I coached the High School Elgible team this year if thats what you want to call it and as well coached Stanley, Hardin, and have actually coached every kid at one time or the other, and they looked good at times during the summer and they are a great group of ballplayers.

New England by 27 that is funny and not going to happen, i honestly see this game being a high scoring game but indy wins 35- 31, there not invincible.

Gilmer not only has Darian Stump Godfrey at Quarterback, But RB Jeremy Jackson is a good player, and Paul Chesnut starts at safety and is doing a terrific job. All three are sophmores

Oh and by the way good luck to Dangerfield this year in the district and the playoffs, i coached baseball against Hurndon and Hill and they are sensational athletes, Dangerfield always brings it every time they play Gilmer. Good Luck Tigers Go Buckeyes

Kevnasty everyone in here knows u get off on running ur head about Gilmer and thats fine but if u were at the game against Dangerfield did u not notice most of there offensive starters were out of the game halfway through the third quarter but yeah they held us in check after that.

I actually watch wrestling when i get a chance, it is sports entertainment and those guys are very athletic. But u guys that r calling it a bunch of steroid freaks, thats in everything now, including the ufc so i dont get why all of a sudden the wreslers are all supposely on steroids, but anyways just a opinion. There are several guys in the wwe who could hang in the ring with ufc guys.

I just know one thing, being a die hard Cowboy Fan i will never pick against them but i really think they will win this game, remember what our defense did to Peyton last year, Brady will get his numbers but i dont think there defense is as good as everyone else thinks they are and they havent played anyone either. I am from Gilmer and the last i heard we were 50 or 60 kids away from the old number from moving back to 4a so i seriously doubt we will be in 4a.

My Prediction will be the Cowboys 27 Patriots 24, with Jones not Barber having the big game, and Crayton and Newman plays a big part in this game. Moss will not have a big game lining up against newman, even after the game last night i am still a Romosexual lol Go Cowboys

Being an Aggie fan this game does scare me because of the Texas Tech Offense but we almost pulled it out last year with a even weaker defense so i am going with Aggies 38 Texas Tech 35 with the Aggies controlling the clock and keeping that Tech O off the field long enough to get the victory lets Gig Em Aggies

I coach Fall Baseball and have coached it for the last 9 years and had kids from Gilmer when they were in Junior High on my Team and none of them ever missed Football because of an injury, or Vice versa. However if the kids like both sports and continue to do both i dont see what the trouble is as long as his grades dont become an issue or behavior. Some kids are better ballplayers than football players and play junior high football because there friends are or u go to a school like Gilmer which has alot of success. I guess if the parents and the kids want to do it, i dont see what the problem is. Again thats just my opinion.

If i knew of crawford and where he plays i may be able to add him but dont, I just know that both of these men are going to Oklahoma and Calhoun is listed at playing runningback whereas rumors have suggested that justin is going to be a linebacker, as a fan of the buckeyes i just dont see him being better as a linebacker. Just about every time he touches the football it takes three or four people to bring him down, i guess i should have asked for opinions on both from people who have seen them play.

I think this is a touchy subject but i agree with the fact that the better player should play for the teams sake.

Just out of curiosity if any of you have seen them both play, would like to know who u think is better and why. I have not had a chance to see him play and here he is real good and probably will not get to see him play because i dont miss a buckeye game.

Just a response to some of ur questions but i have coached liitle league baseball in gilmer for about 9 years and Justin Johnson was playind baseball there when he was 9 years old, so i am sure he has lived in gilmer all those years and didnt live with a coach from Gilmer then, i think he was having a little trouble with no one really watching him and got in some trouble so thats the reason he is now living with the Robinsons.

Obvously Kevnasty didnt go to that game two years ago in dangerfield it was actually a close game no whooping involved, kevnasty just really enjoys bashing gilmer on here, that is his life and to be honest Dangerfield will not beat Tatum.
