It seems like everybody except for D'field and Hooks should just be happy to make it at this point. Anybody know much about district 8?
-
I don't think I've ever seen a district race get to the last game with this many scenarios still in play...crazy!
-
I agree with that statement. It was a very good game. I just think this late in the season, 2 exciting teams, I wouldn't be surprised either way. I'm hoping for a close game that comes down to the end.

Watched D'field play White Oak earlier this year and they seemed very talented and big on the line but beatable at the same time. Don't count 'em before they hatch lol. IN CASE of a tie, I am curious to know what will happen.
-
Is there an update on what they will do about playoff seeding with a 4 way tie?
-
Man that is very crazy. Hooks and OC 2-1 and D'field and PP 1-2 within those 4 teeams
-
If a win by OC puts 4 teams at 4-2 tied for first, what are the 4 teams records vs. each other? Isn't that how it would be settled?
-
4 way tie is different than 3 way tie. It's usually goes by the records of the 4 teams vs the other 3 teams in that tie, whereas in a three way tie, it goes to points.
-
I've got to pick OC just despite Nick2011 lol. Trash talk all in good fun lol. Gonna be a fun one to watch. Hope to get there early enough to find a seat

I heard Estell played all 4 quarters, but was gimpy yes. If how many points OC has given up is all that needs to be said then I guess they shouldn't even play the game, it's not like they practice to try to get better on defense or anything.

instead of answering the who was hurt question, he posted all of Ore City's scores and said, "just look at those losses" lol

This should be a fun game to watch from looking at scores of both teams' games so far. Did Diana upgrade bleachers when they added turf or is it still the same on both sides? Trying to figure out if it will be worth coming to this one, but I'm guessing it will be a packed house

Ore City used to run the slot t offense then changed a year or two ago I believe

I don't know what the world wide web is but I sense some sarcasm lol. I hope you don't always come off so boorish. Just trying to get a conversation going with people who have interest.

Who all is in the new district?
-
Anybody know what waskom and EF turned in?
-
Oh did I say big and physical? I meant big, aggressive, and physical. My fault lol
-
Big Sandy will be able to match S'ville up front. They have great size and are physical enough to get the stops they will need to be in the game. They made some changes on offense that made them a better team. I'll take Big Sandy in a great game but could go either way.

MOVED GAMES (Thursday, October 29th-Saturday, November 1st)....
loudnoises replied to Smoaky's topic in High School Sports
Harleton @ Ore City has moved to Thursday 7:00 7th, 8th and JV games have been cancelled -
Im going with White Oak in a close one. Bullard has improved their program alot, but wo has had 2 weeks to prepare. I'll take White Oak by 6.
-
McCurdy is a man child. The kid weighs like 205 as a sophomore and is solid muscle. Rains will look to take him out of the game, but I don't think that will happen. White Oak by 6.

They did have a couple players they are missing this year, but that's the problem. They only had a couple of players last year. All the boys on this years team were unexperienced last year and are finally starting to get it. Last year was a shame for those few guys that really tried.
