Looking at the radar now, looks like your right, rain should be cleared out by 2:00. Hope the rain in longview doesn't hurt our turnout.

Lobos win despite questionable play calling last 2 drives in the 3rd and horrible clock management in the 4th (put an assistant dedicated to watching the play clock and calling the snaps). Great special team play (except the missed FG). This was a big factor in the win. Longview QB gets the game ball for carrying the rushing load. Defense, although secondary played shakey in the first half, totally shut down a good QB in the second half.

Great defensive effort, Aaron Johnson did almost carry the offensen to a tie. Where we lost was special teams. Gave them too many short fields on kicks and we didn't do anything on returns (not to mention the turnover). Not so sure our offense didn't play well, I believe the LT defense was just that good. Great season and great game to both.

Are they a South Lake type where parents move there just for football?

Best play of the game for me was the kickoff return to the Guyer 30 after a deep kick from the lame fake on-side kickoff play they ran all night. Truly annoying. Also annoying were the two time out calls with one minute left, down by 21, Longview with the ball on their 20? How did the refs let Gyer's head coach talk them into the intentional grounding call? I really though the flag was going against the coach for excessive whining?

Best high school punter I've ever seen, would have a longerbetter average if he wasn't under extreme pressure on most kicks.

Didn't get to go to last game, but watched the replay on cable last night. All I could say was "WOW", looked like the Wax defense was running in slow motion, they were no match for the LV offensive speed.
