Making some valid points is one thing - questioning the character and integrity of the people running the event is completely different.

Good grief man.....Everything can be argued.....You do understand that the Nike combine uses the exact same system you describe above for 40 times...Kids there can also put things in their socks to make them taller, wear weighted compression shorts, etc at that combine and others. The point is, ETSN partnered with APEC to showcase the talent of local kids in East Texas. I am baffled by why you or anyone else would want to pick it apart.

It is clearly stated that those two measurements were done in shoes. The majority of the kids that participated in this combine have been seen by college coaches already so they have a good knowledge of their respective height and weight. I understand that the combine was run very well, no money was received. I really don't understand why people would have an issue with it other than maybe their son or grandson did not receive an invite.

I can only hope that somebody signs the guy. If not it will be because he is being discrimanted against because he is gay instead of the fact he is a 34 year old journeyman center who mustered all of 1 ppg and 1 rpg this season and is a 3 ppg 3 rpg guy for his career.

I do not know Franks but I understand what he is saying and I didn't take it as a slap. I for one think that the 40 is a little overweighted but for a highschool coach timing the 40 - we've got what we've got - we aren't looking for a kid to come to our school and fill a scholarship - so in that regard it may in the eyes of some carry more importance for them to have a 40 time spot on or as close to accurate as possible.

No doubt about it being a great meet. If you are a track and field fan this is the best meet in East Texas each year....Hate that I won't be making it this year - no unattached runners accepted this season....

I do not know if you have been under a rock for the last couple of years or what but all NFL QBs are 'pampered' by the refs under the umbrella of safety. In what way is Brady pampered any more than Romo?

Based on Ward's efficiency, numbers and the fact he is still playing there really isn't a decent arguement that can be made for anyone else unless you wanted to debate who the 2nd best QB in east texas is.

The problem with your theory is that this years version of the Rabbits are nothing like the 03 Rabbits or the 06 Leopards both of which went on to capture state titles - while I agree that they are talented they aren't close to what those teams were.....

bama by 10+.....Saban has seen it all, his preparation in this game and adjustments will be the key....

I hear and see Cow fans crying about their inept offensive line and how tony the great would be even more amazing if he just had some guys that could block....After seeing Philly's o-line this season off and on and last night I would say cow fans should be thankful for what they have.....Worst NFL o-line I have ever witnessed in 20+ years of watching professional football....Dallas should win handily and be back on track for the superbowl....

I believe you are the same guy that had his feelings hurt when someone picked Springhill to win against BH....Again, injuries are a part of the game - good teams prepare for adversity and don't make excuses....I hope that the coach for BH doesn't have the same mentality as you or they will be in for a long season....
