    Y'all do know Cardale Jones passed for 250+ and 3 tuddies and beat Wisconsin 59-0 in the Big 10 Championship game right? It's not even close to beating Louisville 16-6 and going 8/21 for 55 yards and no TDs. 

    FSU was the only undefeated team that year too, and you know what they were ranked? #3. You know who also got the dog mess beat out of them in the 1st round of the playoffs? FSU. 

    It's not close, the committee undoubtedly got it right. Make it SEC or whatever you want - rankings 5-25 don't mean anything, so they gave them #5 out of respect for being undefeated, when they're really probably a #15ish team. It was absolutely awful to watch them play Saturday against a NOT GOOD Louisville team, who didn't have a single credible win and lost to 3-9 Pitt for goodness sake. OH WOW THEY HELD LSU'S AMAZING OFFENSE TO LESS THAN 30. News flash, LSU beat 1 good team all year, and hung 190 points on teams they should actually be ashamed to even have on their schedule.

    Y'all think wayyyy too highly of some of these teams. I give FSU the quality win over LSU, because I do think LSU was slightly above average this year. Duke should have never been ranked, they were never impressive and the only reason they were every ranked is because everyone thought so highly of Clemson who was not good. Duke ended 7-5. That leaves their most credible win being LSU, whom you could say the beat because of.... Jordan Travis. The man went off in the 2nd half against LSU. 

    Heck, where's the justice for Liberty?? Liberty beat NMSU twice, who stomped Auburn, who absolutely blewwwww the Bama game. Give me Liberty, or give me death. 

    So the committee needs to tell us style points do matter

    NO ONE seems to have a problem with Michigan being in the playoff, and not only are they, they're #1!. Everyone keeps arguing, as it relates to FSU, 'we don't want to see another TCU beatdown'. You do realize that TCU BEAT Michigan prior to their beatdown last year, right? The fact of the matter is, Michigan and Ohio State are two of the programs that get overhyped, and overrated every year, and we all know it. They don't play ANYONE except each other!

    Michigan:

    They played OSU and PSU. Great. PSU plays no one except OSU and MI. They lost both. 

    OSU:

    Same. They play no one except MI and PSU. Oh, my bad, they also played the other team that gets overhyped and overrated every year...ND. 

     

    'But Lobo, what about the other 'ranked' team MI and PSU played?' Oh, you mean IOWA?! The team that can't score on anyone? Case and point, the ONLY two real teams Iowa played all year, MI and PSU, guess how many TOTAL points they scored against those two teams. I'll save you the trouble of looking it up.....0000000!!!!!!

     

    You laugh at FSU's schedule, but say nothing about Michigan. I find that laughable. 

     

    Oh, and by the way, that 'trash' Louisville team that FSU just beat with their THIRD string QB, that apparently wasn't even impressive to the committee, guess where that same committee placed Louisville in their final ranking......IN THE TOP 15!

    You’d have to ask Sankey, he picks which SEC team plays where.  Maybe he was scared Kansas would throttle you guys
     

    beating Bama was way more gratifying that beating a dumpster fire program who just overpaid another HC.

As far as the misses, not everyone that is a good coordinator is cut out to be a great head coach, especially under the microscope of a major program. Jeremy Pruitt is a prime example. The guy is probably Saban’s second best DC (behind Kirby), but was a disaster as a HC at Tennessee. Some guys just don’t have it. 

    If you’re gonna give Saban credit for sarks wins shouldn’t he take responsibility for losses?  Is Charlie Strong still on staff at Bama?  I want to see what Saban can do with him.  
     

    it’s always good to be surrounded by good coaches and influences.

    Most football fans call it mediocrity, not rebuilding
