  1. One thing being overlooked is this…. Several years or so ago, Texas offered the Aggies the opportunity to have an ooc home/home series as Texas needed some games.  The Aggy AD said they were booked out for 10 years so Texas started scheduling Alabama and Georgia.  Weeks later the aggys announced a couple series with fcs teams and g5 teams.  Little did we know the Aggy’s pettiness would actually help Texas’ SoS and give Texas a quality win.  That quality win is what put them in the playoffs.  Thanks guys!!!  Lol

Someone better at X than me, get on there and post the talk going on between Evan Stewart and Donovan Green.

Basically saying all of you believing they got paid to come to A&M in 2020 are morons. Even directly mentions sliced bread and says what A&M fans have been saying the whole time.  @Stoney

He’s saying that no money was given to them by aTm.  It’s an open ended statement basically.

Bally Sports has been a colossal failure for many fans nationwide...including those in North Texas.

No deals with the majority of streaming services (Hulu, Youtube).... unavailability on many cable outlets.

Rangers, Mavericks, and Stars games have been difficult to find for a lotta folks.

UIL state championships are no exception.  Anyone that doesn't have Bally on their cable....or doesn't have Fubo or Direct streaming is left out in the cold.

Now Bally is saying they will likely cease operations next September with the conclusion of the MLB season.

What then?  Who picks up the state championship games then?

Will another RSN step up?  Or could it go back to the way it was back in the day when a local DFW station distributed Ranger and Mav games.  Same with the state championships.

I don't have Bally since I switched to Youtube (I dumped Direct because of the Fox51 debacle).

Now....I have the Dallas games.....but nothing for HSFB.

    Very frustrating.

Scrap NFHS while you’re at it.

That may very well be the stupidest thing ever posted on the internet.

Saban fussed about the HUNH offenses.  He even told the ncaa they were a safety hazard.  Now he runs one.  Evidently he doesn’t care about the safety of players or he was whining to help benefit his cause.  Do you honestly think Saban will be for a bigger playoff?  No, he won’t.  Because it doesn’t help his cause.

I have had an issue with it since the inception of the playoff. You can go back a dig through a decade of stuff on this site if you choose.

Well just a few posts earlier I explained that Michigan had the choice.  Texas benefitting is just a byproduct of the choice.  Texas would’ve traveled well to the Rose Bowl as well.  They’ve played in a couple of them and won.  So saying Texas benefiting was my reason is not true.  Anybody, anywhere

Let's be real.  Strength of Schedule doesn't matter in the Rankings or Michigan would not be #1.  Outside of Ohio State, their schedule was absolute dog crap.

So take them out of the top4.  That’s the very reason Florida St was kept out in favor of SEC.  That’s being real.  Florida State and Michigan are exactly the same.  It’s a class favorite selection committee

I see what you’re saying . Top four should at least host or have the nearest big bowl venue. Ex: Washington plays in the Rose bowl  Texas in the cotton, Bama in the sugar ect that way you can continue to use those by bowls and technically not have a huge home field advantage.

Michigan chose the rose bowl for two reasons.  There’s a tradition of Big10 champs playing in the rose bowl AND the Sugar bowl would just about be a home game for Bama.  I’m glad it worked out the way it did because the sugar Bowl will basically be a home game for Texas.  You guys complaining….sometimes it just sucks to suck

Better than what we have. Right now eight teams have a legitimate argument. That is probably roughly on undefeated and major one loss teams. After two losses you get kinda ridiculous getting into the playoffs.

8 teams is good.  It fits the amount of conferences with the addition of a couple of deserving at-large.  9-16 are a bunch of 2-3 loss teams that have no business being given a shot at a national title.  You have to remember, the more teams in the PLAYoffs, the less the regular season games mean.  Teams will just try to be 10 win teams and get in

You don’t even know who they played. The top team on their schedule is currently ranked #13. Alabama has beaten that team, as well as two more that are ranked higher. Come on Kirt. If you’re gonna hate on my team, at least be informed about them.

Sec teams that are typically overrated because the pad their win column with cupcakes and play each other.  The sec is once again 3 teams strong, 2 in the west and one in the east.  Bama struggled with several teams along the way.  This was a class favorite selection committee, plain and simple.  These folks didn’t have the intestinal fortitude to do the right thing.  The quicker we get away from a class favorite committee the better it’ll be.
