Should have.
Beat the best Texas team of the last 14 years through.
Texas is playing today though

Understood, I guess he was "smarter" than the Carthage coach as he got the win.
Nope, he forced his own team into OT when he could’ve won it in regulation by taking a knee. Instead it took a Carthage fumble after their D forced a FG. You’re not very good at this football thing are you?! lol, bless your heart

Oklahoma State is the worst team to be in the Big 12 championship since like 2005 Colorado.
Maybe OU should’ve beat them

How do you not review that?
The Big12 all of a sudden realized “they” have a shot at the CFP for the last time ever???

My two favorite teams is A&M and. Who ever playing texas. It really isn’t that difficult even for you to comprehend. That here nor there. Orange team looks good. FYI this is 3rd one to watch vs 12 Aggie games so nice try.
Exactly, pitiful. You actually are more of an anti-fan than you are a fan of your teams.

Yep, Carthage nearly gave up more points tonight than Bellville has given up in 14 games.
Notice every comment has a previous quote. Just quoting the previous nonsense, turnabout. OK for you to say it? but no one else?
I hope Bellville wins state by 60

More brilliance. "Gilmer coach is not very smart", but you are?
Did you watch it? No, then you should be quiet. Carthage fans all around me said the same thing.

Not trying to be rude but if you’re not from Carthage and are congratulating us you can keep it because most of yall been talking down on us all yr. Y’all only happy because Carthage lost and wanna be able to hate on them. I dont think most are really happy for us.
Most aren’t a fan of the Gilmer fanbase, but since you asked congrats. Is there anything else you want.

Remind us again how many state championships Belleville has. Carthage was not overrated, they got beat by a very good team that outplayed the Dawgs on both sides of the ball.
The Gilmer QB and receivers were outstanding and the O line gave him time to find the open man.
The sophomore QB with no time outs carried the team down the length of the field throwing dimes for a touchdown in 90 seconds and then then threw an incredible pass for two points. Held Gilmer to a field goal in overtime. 99 percent of the time Dawgs win in that situation.
If Gilmer gets to the state championship, they will be the fastest team on the field. Their defense is night and day different from the beginning of the season.
I will be pulling for the Buckeyes. All that matters is Glen Rose right now.
Just remember the Dawgs loose two on defense and two on offense.7 drops, multiple poorly played passes for the secondary, emotional penalties, etc…. And still should’ve won the game. Carthage should’ve leaned on the run game in OT
Gilmers coach is not very smart. With the lead and your opponent no timeouts, you tell your guys to secure the ball and first down and go down. Victory formation the next play and you win in regulation. No score was needed to win. He almost cost his team the win.

Are you expecting a loss? I realize they struggle with the pokes but they’re back. Then again I thought Carthage would woodshed Gilmer. I doubt the luck changes.
I’m not expecting anything. I’m gonna watch and hope Texas handles their business. I just know how the Big12 refs have treated Texas through the years, especially against ok state.

No problem. Belville will handle Gilmer if Gilmer can beat Glen Rose. Wimberly is likely the tougher test for Bellville.

Did Carthage "focus on gap integrity"?
Do you understand football? AT ALL? Gilmer doesn’t run a slot/wing type offense. Geez

They were “roll out and see if anyone is open, if not run it” reads. Very little reads with RB involved. Strange offensive strategy.
Several plays the QB would put ball in the RB belly and ride it. He pulled and ran. It’s a simple zone read, inverted veer, one read give or pull.
I was semi impressed with the athletes, but not the offensive strategy. They stretched the field intentionally once, a scramble deep throw once and the rest of the passes were a moving pocket and routes condensed to one side of the field. You could tell the offense was simplified for easy reads with pull it and go as a last option. The qb was a good athlete, just not a qb. They never attacked the middle of the field that I remember.

We don’t really know the answer to that statement because PG chose to run their QB 35 times vs letting their two RB’s have the ball. #1 McFadden picked up a TCU offer this week after TAMU hired the Duke Coach.
Those were reads, would be my guess.
