Silsbee has talked more smack through the years but never does anything. I think they’ve made it past area twice in the 15 years I’ve paid attention to them. They play break predistrict, their district has typically been average except for a few years, and then they get their balloon deflated in the first two rounds of the playoffs. Don’t forget to list all the D1 talent they had so I can check it out.

I watched two Friday that would’ve smoked Bellville

List those D1 players and why they weren’t on film against Bellville. I didn’t see a single that looked D1 ish. think about the past for Carthage. Cold spring- oakhurst, Kennedale, giddings, etc…. The typically shut down any type of slot/wing system they face. Bellville looks to not like throwing the ball until they have to. Against silsbee, through 3 drives not a single pass.

I watched the Bellville vs Silsbee game. Silsbee was not a very talented team. Not even close to the talent of years past. Not too impressed with Bellville either.

If Carthage hadn’t played so sloppy, there’s wouldn’t even be considered an issue. Carthage beats them 21+ when they aren’t shooting themselves in the foot. When the D finally adjusted, PG looked like a Jr High offense

Must not have watched the same game I did. The refs missed 5-6 holding calls on PG, one PI on them that would’ve been a score and a few blocks in the back. After reading those comments by adults, seeing the PG player trying to fight the ref after the game doesn’t shock me so much. Must be horrible parenting up there

Friday night has competing games taking attendance. I was coming to sit in the rain for that game regardless of where it was played.

Third year head coach drawing $7million per year. Jimbo’s first contract was $7.5million per year strictly because he had a national title. From what I’ve been told, the first offer to Elko was $5.5 per year and he told his team he would be staying. This is a reach hire at best. He’s a great coordinator, but extremely unproven at best. not one Aggy has shown any info to own anybody.
