i never said i was from Tatum, all i said was how people who were wanting them to win it all, now cant stand them all because they had some success recently and are now rebuilding

Obviously you misunderstood my statement. i know that div I and II are in the playoffs . That's why i said they dropped in Division rather quickly from 3A to 2A.

i never said anything about Tatum. but its funny how people dislike them now but just 3 seasons ago people were saying bring the title back to East Texas. last time i checked Tatum went to state in 05,06,and 07. Goodluck Daingerfield but don't bring in Tatum cause y'all haven't won state this year yet. cuz yall were at home last yr while tatum was in a title game and the yr before that and the yr before that.

It will be an insult if Dfield doesnt win, cuz theyve dropped from 3A div II, then 2A div I and now dwn to 2A div II. how has Dfield gotten so small? They are clearly the best team in 2A. if they cant win being in Div II 2A then they wont ever win.

After seeing the LV game last night and seeing Lake Travis, I just dont see LV beating Lake travis. Lobos are good but Lake travis is just unstoppable, all i got to say is that Longview better have some Very good Cornerbacks, or it will be a long night in Waco.

Tatum had a good day in Palestine as well qualifying for state: Cashas Pollard-110's and 300's Hurdles-Regional Champion Javarious Tatum-100m Dash-Regional Champion Morgan Redmon-Shot Put-2nd Place Tatum Boys 4x200-2nd Place Tatum Boys also Won the Meet. Making it 4-Straight Regional Championships(2005-2008), Congrats to Coach J.B. Haggerty, and The Tatum Eagles, and Good Luck @ State.

Former Tatum Standouts Donavon Sammons(S.F.A) and Michael Hill(Northwestern) Both place 3rd In their Events @ the 2008 SLC Indoor Track and Field Championships.Donavon Sammons Ran 2nd Leg on the SFA 3rd place finishing 4x400 relay team with a time of 3:19.13.While Michael Hill ran the 60m Hurdles and captured 3rd with a time of 8.14. SFA's Mens team also finished 2nd overall in the meet to bring home some hardware finishing just 20.50 points behind UTSA.

true, he is a great back, but college football plays at alot faster pace than HS, now i know bus isnt the fastest thing on the field but i dont see him excelling at RB ubnless he gets more speed under him, not sure how many times hes gotten caught by DB"s and Safeties but in college speed is prb most important.

i dont know about close prob better talent wise than gilmer, but like i said earlier just because your more disciplined doesnt mean your goin to win the game, its whoever plays the best football, not whose more disciplined, was Dallas Carter more disciplined than permian when carter won in 88??

Im not sure how Roosevelt Being WH in disguise is relevant, cause if im not mistaken all those guys graduated since they did close in 2005, so 3 classes have graduated so not sure how many who played then if and are still here but if they are, its goin to be a very physical game, i remember the Tatum-WH game in 04 tatum was beat up after that very hard earned win in tyler.

:happy65: Gilmer has never been outnumbered on the Field so how outnumbered do you think Velt was in Preseason? what i found interesting is that Royse City turned in 1079 students about a month ago, so really velt beat another 4A school. Roosevelt is more prepared for this game having played 4A\5A schools in PRESEASON, Gilmer stands no chance with Velts Schedule.

Yeah i feel the same way, they have played some pretty good opponents, in those 4a 5a schools and does give them the edge this week, and no matter what yall say about the 4a\5a schools records youve gotta know that Velt was WAY outnumbered since they are jus 3a competing with those larger schools, if the schools switched regular season schedules not sure gilmer could have stood a chance with those schools :thumbsup:

well if you look at the video form the game youlll see RC was never in control of the game hence the 34-9 halftime score,if gilmer gets behind, it wont be pretty for them, dont just think they(Roosevelt) have just one athlete they have a full arsenal of them, Royse didnt look like a challenge at all for them, and yall swore thats who yall would be playing this round, should be a good game

gilmer will have to play perfect defense this week if they plan to pull out a win against Velt, not sure on the trash talking but every team has a few who do it, it happens in all sports, this game will come down to who has the best defense not offense since both have high=powered offenses, but we all know offense=games defense=CHAMPIONSHIPS

yea but thats madison 04 not roosevelt 07 and gilmer 04 had more speed then this years team, but i say if rooselvelt brings it.... gilmer will be in trouble ....and always when speed is used RIGHT they will prevail
