Taking Waskom this week off of a cancelled game last week. Those guys are ready to get on the field. Did Sabine come away healthy last week vs West Rusk?

Going to be interesting. I got to watch EF this past week since Waskom got cancelled. EF has a few pieces that will be interesting as they get older. They looked like they need some help on the O-line though. They played Dekalb tough in the first half but kinda got sloppy in the 2nd. I think I’ll take the jackets in a close one.

Should be good one. Pewitt looks physical as they usually are and Waskom has the speed advantage. Waskom’s Homecoming… I’ll take the Cats.

Gonna take the Eagles in this one. Kubiak will put the riders in a bind with the formations he throws at em. And Watson will turn up the heat on D! Should be a good game!

They had a little streak a few years back where they were in the 2nd-3rd round pretty consistently it seemed like. I know they have some quality coaches up there and the kids seem to buy in to what they do. As a former player for the HC and DC when they were at Waskom years ago, I know they are men of great integrity and morals. I’d run through a wall for those men and am thankful for the impact they had on me. I think they are building something good there, they just don’t have a lot of speed. That’s a luxury some schools have and some don’t and it makes a big difference here in East Texas. I think most would agree lol.

I didn’t like it at first because I love the late games but it makes sense the way I was told. I was told it started with smaller schools because of the fact they had to travel so much further to away games that it would allow them to make it home earlier. It has just worked it’s way up and is becoming more common now.
