Words cant express what I saw tonight, . Dfield played the first quarter with a 5'5 140 DE and no CB, and HS ran to that side for 2 first half TD's. Dfield set Football back 50 years in the first half and on a positive note, Tiger fans showed up as usual.

So is Football the only sport that is played in Daingerfield? Let's take a look at the Girls Programs in Daingerfield. How competitive have these programs been over the last 10 years and why not? So when the select few football coaches are asked to resign or get non renewed , will the female coaches be let go also? A Head Football Coach/ Athletic Director is responsible for all Athletic programs and needs to put well qualified teachers/ coaches in position to be successful in the classroom and on the field/court/track. Basketball ? Volleyball ? Softball ? Tennis ? Track and Field?

I watched 1 quarter of this game Friday Night. If last years 1-9 team was the worst in Daingerfield History, then this team is the second. I wont bash the coaches or kids, its just bad football. Just an observation, if you can't get the snap from 5 yards away, please put your pride away and take time to let your qb take a snap from under center.

This should be a good job for a young up and coming coach, please lets stop recycling these coaches that has not accomplish much in the past. Just my opinion and I have a great nephew on this team that will be a senior next year

If Mr. Jefferson ( Jerry Bennett) couldn't change the culture on his time as HC/AD, and Bennett has the say so in who gets the job, then how can Jefferson ISD, athletics be successful. Willie Hargett ( child please). I could be mistaken but check and find out. Jefferson doesn't have 10 coaches, coaches drive the bus for free. Jefferson will have 40 plus kids on the JV football team and no Freshman team. In order to win, you must want to win and it starts at home, church, community and the ISD.

Great topic so let me give my reason. The reason is football coaches not track coaches want Thursday track meets. Football coaches will have those same kids that won't show up for a Saturday track meet show up for 5 Saturdays to play 7 on 7 that will last all day. Thursday vs Saturday track meets over a 6 week period is about 20 more practice days. Thursday meets you practice 2 1/2 days a week. Saturday track meets you practice 4 1/2 day. Ask your head football coach would he rather practice 2 1/2 day or 4 1/2 days to prepare for a football game. Football coaches that care nothing about track are done at district so they can get to offseason football but we say we r here for the kids. I know basketball coaches that practice on Saturday after a friday night basketball and in a small school those r the same kids that play football, baseball and run track. Thursday track meet starts at 3:30 and has to end at 10. It's cold as heck in February and early March, the sun is down before the 4x1 is run( cold), now I'm an hour or two away from school and I may get back at around 11pm or midnight. I have to drive the bus and I've been up for 18 hours and I'm tired as heck with your child on this bus I'm driving. Now when you get home around 1am on a school night and have be back at work for 7:30 tired as heck, what r u teaching my child on a Friday or are u watching a movie?

Did the Head Coach From Shelbyville shake hands with the SA coaches after the game Friday and did he talk trash to the SA kids like he did the West Sabine Kids

After the game the HC from Shelbyville told one of the WS coaches that he was not going to shake his hand
