Tatum is an above average team in the big picture. Not so much a real contender for the region. The fans understand that. Still should be here in force to support the kids

The Lions are not a bad team. Just kind of got the Dr. Jeckel/ Mr. Hyde thing going on. NB moved the ball pretty good between the 20s. Terrible in the red zone. Decent passing game and a couple of kids that can fly. Hooks D was just too much for them. If the come ready to play they can beat Troup. Time will tell

There are 9 high schools in Bowie County. As they drop out we shift our attention to the next favorite school until one of them goes all the way or all get beat. I have other East Texas Teams I follow. Most of the time I have someone to root for in the championship games.

Believe me the second round will be tough. I know it would be tough against Harmony. I expect the same from Daingerfield. I expect a very hard fought game. We got to get past Edgewood first. That could be chore enough. You never know what’s in the heads of teenagers

Two scores is about right. Dekalb has a pretty good OL. I don’’t think the ARP D can contain the DeKalb speed like Hooks did. A entirely differ level on D in the Hornets favor. If Winky is healthy look out

Believe me Hooks doesn’t count it at all. It was way too early for either team to wave the victory flag. I will admit Winny looked good and if the game had of finished would have been the favorite. Winny did have only a one score lead in the middle of the second. The game was considered a no contest in the record books. Both teams were 9 and 0 at the end of the season
