I have not Mally play but I have followed them all season. I think it would foolish of me to pick against them

Dekalb has a really good running game but do not pass well. They will have the fastest man on the field. You better control the trenches or they will run it down your throat. Stop the running game and you will probably. Unless you have a shut down D you are apt to get beat. I will go with DK by a nervous 10 points

Winny takes this one. Balanced team on O and a solid D.. total package

Harmony @ Daingerfield ☆District Championship☆

Good prediction. I fell into the Daingerfield hype trap but I knew Harmony would come to play. Shame on me for going against my gut feeling -
Congrads to Atlanta on a big win. Maybe y’all have finally put it all together. Enjoy the win

You will always have to beat Harmony the old fashioned way. Very disciplined and well coached -
Harmony beating DF just how tight the competition is on this region. Hooks beat Harmony early in the season by only 4 points. I hope someone gets them early so we don’t have to play. They gave Hooks all we could handle the first game of the season. I am sure both teams are better now but remember Hornets it is hard to beat a good team twice in the same season. No place. For off games now. If you have one you will be shooting hoops. The same goes for every team in the region

Be safe all. No injuries on either side. Want both teams healthy for when Hooks take them out -
More apt to lose teams to 2AD1 than 3AD1
-
If the Atlanta players had the heart to match their raw talent they would be a big player in their region, in fact the State most years

Is there a team in 3A-D2 that can give Gunter a close game?
OLEMAN replied to TCU44's topic in High School Sports
As long as any district follow the UIL rules concerning transfers there is nothing to be said. If there is something illegal going on they will get caught and pay the price. Money can always be followed -
Thanks for that statement. So true
-
NB will play hard and do all they can to stop Hooks. If you look at all 3A D2 schools. In TX they could actually win some districts. That being said the East Texas Districts are all pretty strong. They just won’t have the D to stop the balanced attack of the Hks O. Hooks by 21+

I really like MP. Always plenty of room
-
Been there too. Nice. If you are an East Tx School there are venues much closer. I think round 3 is when it comes into play for 3A and below schools. The schools around Dallas will keep Royse City busy Thursday thru Sat. In the first rounds. Then the later rounds come in
-
If you are 3AD1 or D2 in East Texas there are several good stadiums to play at . It is a bit dated but Mt Pleasant is still good. Gilmer, Gladewater Pittsburg, PG, Marshall etc. The shorter the Drive the better. Getting you fan base there is much better than going for fancy. Especially for older fans. The list that will accommodate 2A schools is even larger.

I consider two scores a close game. I think there is 3 or 4 teams that have the kids to keep it that close. Winning is a different thing. Then drop the number to 2 maybe 3. That is a big maybe -
I like the result of this game. Probably will wake Duncanville up. They should be a better team for it. Desoto is the real deal.
-
Honestly I don’t know who will fall out of this region. A lot of parity amping the top 4 teams for sure. No one has cornered the market on speed. I think the D of each team will be the difference. I see some one score games a coming. I think the scores will cap out around 30
-
No doubt. All three are exceptional teams. Still think the One who plays the best D takes it in the end. They can all play O
-
The folks from DF and Newton already have it all figured out.
-
I think that is a done deal. I expect a cavalier effort by the Lions but in the end they will fall. Hooks has a really good D
-
I think PP is just down for a few years. Their numbers are working against them. They will return
-
Nope! That honor goes to the one in Hooks. I can’t imagine one being worse. Our Donic is right down there with them
