yeah..........and listening to someone from apple springs opinion of what they should do in the gridiron is exactly what they need. Why don't you just sit there and look pretty and let the Indians do their thing. I don't thing Groveton needs any pointers from a program that had to go 6 man to be competitive.

These students have every right to speak and pray to God WHEREVER they so choose. They answer to a higher power than the supt, the state or the federal government. They also have the first amendment right to freedom of speech and are also given the right to worship whom they choose wherever they choose. I have news for some of you folks, you can rest assured that Jesus is in our schools and all around us. Not just in our homes or churches. He is constantly intervening in our lives daily. These girls CHOSE themselves to do this and they are not payed officials of anyone so the state really can't have anything to say about what they do or don't do. Christ on the other hand commanded them to " go and make disciples". He told the adults that any of us who caused any of the little ones to stumble(children) that it would be better if a mill stone were wrapped around our neck and for us to be cast into the sea. We had be real careful where we side on this issue as adults cause we will be held accountable. Based on the laws of our land, if adults had forced it, I could see how it would be considered a violation, although I find it rediculious. But this movement is for the kids by the kids and most of us adults could take a page from them and learn a thing or two.

I think Hull and Alto are 2 totally different teams. Hull will not be able to line up the way they did against Groveton defensively because of what Alto does on offense. It will create problems for Hull who will match up poorly in the secondary vs Alto receivers. Having said that Alto is subject to the run as our guys exposed. Y'all will have to keep the ball from them as you did us and rely on they having mosques as we did the other night. We missed a bomb to an open receiver and fumbled 4 times to stall drives losing one of them. We only ran 28 plays I think on offense to your 60 something which says a lot for our defense to bend but not break like they did. We moved the ball on offense but shot ourselves in the foot to end our own drives. If you can keep the ball away from them, you got a chance to be in the game. If not, it could be a long night.

Nice try Golfer, but we are focused on one game at a time right now. We will worry about the mean sting next week. One things for sure though, Trinity can hear the drums getting louder and louder as Friday draws near.

Yeah, the last coach was only the head coach of the University of Central Oklahoma by way of the Oklahoma Sooners before that. There is no way he could coach like someone from Cameron Yoe. ( insert sarcasm here too)

Untrue. Grapeland scored 1 time in 1's on 1's in controlled. It was 2-0 in running clock 12 min quarter. Overall was 4-1 Groveton. And Groveton fumbled 2 times inside the 10 on other drives.

Looked like we did a little of everything tonight. The T and the I formations, along with some gun stuff. Groveton was not perfect but played hard and had a goaline stand on a 1st and goal from the 3. Garrison moved the ball some but Groveton did a good job of bending but not breaking. Also layed the wood a bit an had 3 or 4 picks. The loan Garrison TD came on a scramble drill deflected pass

I did not see that. Garrison is a good football team that is physical. It's early and they will improve as they learn their new systems Groveton has good size and a ton of gifted backs. The soph QB is a freak as well. How Garrison looked had more to do with how Groveton played. Good luck bulldogs on your season

Groveton - Lovelady Although the overall record is very lopsided (Lovelady with only 4 wins all-time, 3 since 05'), it has heated up in the last 7-8 years because of LL drastically improving. It is worth mentioning that Groveton's combined record on years when LL has beat them(05', 09', 11') is 6-19. But the rivalry has become heated starting in 05, when LL beat Groveton for the first time in 27 years. Since then, it has been a good rivalry between neighboring towns. Sadly, it doesn't look like they will play in the near future anymore.
