Oh yea you’re right. I will say though, Carthage over the last 4 years has been a MUCH better team than Gilmer. When considering score differences per year of Gilmer vs Carthage & Gilmer vs PG, PG & Gilmer are a closer match.

Since then it’s only been Argyle and PG, right? Even 4 times in a row seems like a stretch. 5x? Would Vegas put any money on PG?

In my estimation, which is probably worthless, PG has a 70% chance to win a game vs the Buckeyes. But to beat the buckeyes 5 times in a row, the chances get very narrow. Gilmer by 4.

NB usually does put up a good fight against the bux, even tho they're 2A. . If they weren't a worthy opponent, traylor wouldn't play them every year.

And there's really nothing wrong with that opinion. Liberty hill dominated a gilmer team that was loaded with D1 prospects that year. Of course gilmer had injuries, but even a healthy team couldn't have kept up. That's MY opinion. That would be a great game to see!

Well I want to say congrats the rattlers for getting to the big dance. This year you didn't have one of those pesky east texas teams to knock you out 2 weeks ago. I bet you thought you would never get past that regional round! Just stirring the pot fellas. I just hope that nasty-soda knows that Gilmers offense is slow, we have no running game and our receivers couldn't catch a cold. . Our defense is soft and always gives up big plays. Plus traylor is an average coach at best. The navasota coaching staff should give their players a well deserved break this week, go easy on the practices and heck, give those boys a few days off. They really don't have anything to worry about this week. Gilmer will be an easy win....

Navasota looks like a fired up, super confident team. They've bulldozed over some really good teams this year. But I also think gilmer will be navasotas biggest test this year. I say that knowing that they've beat WOS & LaMarque, because I don't doubt that this buckeyes team, if they played sotas same schedule, would also be undefeated. I made a promise to myself during the 2007 season that I would never pick against the bux. So that's why I say the bux will put some shock and awe on the rattlers, put em in a 10 point hole, and never let em out of it.

Go sit on the visitors side once. I have a couple of times to get premium seating and I actually didnt believe the gilmer crowd was that loud! It's much louder when it's coming from the other side of the field. But I agree on the Cuero game. The stands were on fire that night! Much like the jasper game.
