The Paris News said that Chisum board would be meeting last night about the AD position. Does anyone know what they decided?

I believe the board met last night to decide what to do with this job. Either to give it to a coach already on staff, that has been the interim AD. Or to go in a different direction and hire from outside. Not sure what happened with the meeting

If a school is selling shirts with the school logo and a cross has been added to the logo, is that a violation of the separation of church and state laws.

This thing really ventured off the original topic. does anyone know what is going on over there? Did those guys really cheat on the EOC? what is going to happen to them? I haven't seen anything on the local paper website. just wondering

I agree Wilson was a good coach. He got into administration and is now at Rivercrest I believe.

what language would that be hookem73? the English language. I have been to many games and coached against those guys many times and never heard anything from them that you wouldn't hear on any sideline in the state. those guys all coached their butts off and had high expectations for the kids.

That is a far cry from the winning days of Schuelke as the Head coach, Connot as the DC, and Upchurch as the O-line. Prairiland is in a downward spiral. I hope the administration is happy about the decision to get rid of Schuelke, and Connot and Upchurch off enough to leave.

Every coach that Richters has hired at Prairiland they have had to fire. On top of that he hired Pointer from Rivercrest as the DC, Those two together have a combined record of 11 - 69 as head coaches.

Two of the three jobs posted have to do with this. Connot was the Head Baseball and he left to go to Rivercrest to coach with his son.

I heard through the grape vine that Prairiland had two coaches that got caught giving answers to the EOC. That they sent them home for the rest of the year, which means that they have been fired. Anybody else hear about this?

i did and according to their hand book he was not their long enough to be properly evaluated.

Is this situation legal or not according to UIL rules? A kid is currently attending one high school and is planning on attending another high school in the fall. The kid will be moving into the new district and will not be a transfer. The kid goes to the new school for a visit to watch how athletics is run and the things they are doing. During the athletic period while on this visit, the kid goes through football drills. Then after school, with coaches of the new school present, the kid goes through football drills. Is this legal or illegal?
