I did some research and found the following states have a shot clock: According to a newspaper article I found, they are: California Massachusetts Rhode Island Maryland New York Washington North Dakota South Dakota (just started this year) A shot clocked, I feel is needed in Texas as well. It will reward "good defense" and keep the game at it's natural flowing pace.

Not true. This is a problem that needs to be fixed, JMO. I think the boat has left, and your still standing on the shore stranded. Look at the big picture.

But, hey if you think dunking and pressing an inferior basketball team is basketball. Then bring on the shot clock. If inferior teams don't like it, get better and stop the other team, but by all means, PLAY the game!

Shot clock is needed to keep the integrity of the game.
