That running back from Jasper was little, fast and powerful.........He was the huge part of their offense, but starting running out of gas in the 2nd half.

I know that band director at Center well, and he isnt going anywhere.....

Word is Aaron Handorf is going to replace him. (That was his asst.) They are still going through the process of interviewing and such to make it legal. Unless something drastic happens.....Aaron will get the job.

Any word on Chapel Hill?

Whitehouse definetly has some returning talent/along with some studs stepping up from JV, but I think we are going to be losing alot. Hope we can make up the difference...... PMD!

Well, while we are talking changes.....Anyone know about Chapel Hill. Heard Glenn Wells took the Kilgor College job, but have heard nothing about who is applying or might get Chapel Hill!

WOW! The Whitehouse High school band has like 300 in it....and im sure the Band Director doesnt make that.

I would love for you to get started on band directors.....just curious! Some are underpaid, and some are WAY over paid based on my knowledge. What I do know is that most people have no idea what the band directors REALLY do. And if you werent in band, its going to be really hard for me to take you serious, or if you were one of those football coaches that was just really mad at your band director for one of two reasons.....either he/she was really lazy and they didnt deserve their pay, or you were just mad that you lost alot of kids to band.

You're absolutely right on the buying them every 10-12 years....but you probably also know that band programs grow drastically in East Texas. Sooooo, the next time its time to buy, maybe we could save the 90,000 and not buy them. You are wrong on the 45,000 for 100 kids....It all depends on what you are buying....if your buying corps style, then maybe 450 for a uniform. But if your buying a full Military uniform......600 easy. You're also wrong about parents buying all the instruments......Ill use a surrounding 4A school for example. The parents to buy some of the instruments, but this school supplies the Tuba, Baritone, French Horn, and most if not all of the Percussion. A set of good timpani costs around 20,000, a Tuba...9,000....A Euphonium, 4,000......A French Horn, 3,300...... So YEAH, I have a clue :bangin:
