I don't think Penn State would "demolish" anyone.

I'm not sweeping it anywhere, I'm saying LSU shouldn't have to play anyone, or at the very least they shouldn't have to play anyone they've already beaten.

@RedCreek If there were a playoff and LSU/Bama or LSU/anybody they've already played met up then I'd be fine with it. But under the BCS the regular season is a playoff and the only unbeaten team is LSU. If LSU plays anyone for the MNC it shouldn't be anyone they've already beaten. Under this BCS system.

Then don't make LSU play anyone, if Bama is the second best team then give LSU the trophy right now because we already know they can beat Bama. No need to see it again. I'm a Texas fan and if the tables were turned, although I would want another shot at ou, we shouldn't get. I'll say it again if the regular season is a playoff as the NCAA states then no one should get another shot this year. We already have the best team.

You cannot compare a NFL Superbowl rematch to a NC rematch because the Pats and Giants fought threw a playoff to get into that game. What do we know for a fact about this college football season? We know LSU is the best team, we know everyone other than them has at least 1 loss, we know of the other teams LSU is better than Bama, Arkansas, and Oregon. Now those teams shouldn't get a shot at LSU! Why, because they've already shown they are better than them. The problem with this system is we have voters guessing or using their "opinion" to see who is the best after LSU. If they are going to use the regular season as a playoff then in a case like this year, LSU shouldn't have to play anyone for the NC. Everyone keeps saying they "think" or "believe" Bama is the second best team but in reality we don't know if they would beat Ok St and we never will.

This is also Manny Diaz first year and his defense ranks 1st in the conference. He'll also get better at coaching against the hurry up and dual threat QB, something he didn't see much of in the SEC.

I think the hurry up is killing our defense plus the fact that this is the first time we've actually seen a dual threat QB Diaz didn't see much of this in the SEC. But with that said the turnovers and penalties have killed us. As i'm typing this Goodwin drops a TD pass from Ash. Minus Shipely we are terrible at WR.

I just got a report from some family friends that White Oak won their last game by 62 points! I think the team they played was Grapeland, but I don't know that for sure.

Arkansas was not ranked #3 when they played bama...Florida is terrible...and Ok St. beat Texas and they are currently ranked #22 in the BCS right now. If this info came from a source you might wanna stop quoting them because their are a few misses in here.

Thanks i've been watching him play since 3rd grade...I didn't get to go out there tonight but I won't be missing many of these games. I know Yancy worked hard during the summer to gain weight and get stronger. He's never been a real aggressive kid but he is picking it up, I hope his hard work pays off for him.

Very hard fought game, bad defense, and tons of free throws. In the second half and OT Spring HIll wore down and White Oak just kept at it.

I completely agree he is the worst safety to come out of Texas in a long time...but he can sit in center field and read the QBs eyes on a deep ball. His problems are that he can't wrap up when making a tackle, over pursues most plays, and tries to make the big play every time which leads to him being out of place or whiffing on a tackle or INT.

That was just an example of a high octane offense with a dual threat QB that the Texas defense shut down. Not saying that the 2 teams are alike, because I believe RGIII is a much better passer and runner than Klein. Gideon's best postion is playing center field, he is a terrible tackling safety and bad in one-on-one coverage, but we makes good plays on the football when its in the air. (minus the Tech disaster) Vaccaro is a great slot CB and a big time hitter, he plays very physical when asked to play man coverage.

Someone in an earlier post asked if VY graduated...for that reason I added that part. VY also had to play under one of the worst OC of all time. VY also played against some pretty good teams that RGIII and Baylor has never seen, Michigan, Ohio State, and USC. Stats in biggest OOC games: Michigan- Passing 16/28 180 yds 1 TD, Rushing 192 yds 4 TD, Lead game winning drive, FG Ohio State-Passing 18/29 270 yds 2 TD, Rushing 76 yds 0 TD, Lead game winning drive, TD pass USC-Passing 30/40 267 yds 0TD, Rushing 200 yds 3 TD, Lead game winning drive, TD rush If RGIII wanted to be considered in a discussion with VY(other than by BU fans) then he should've gone to a school that had a chance to win BCS games. VY wins and RGIII wins aren't even close and that is the only thing that matters.

Baylor fans be proud of RGIII but don't get crazy arguing he is better then VY... VY graduated from Texas in 2008 after re-enrolling. VY is 1of 4 players to ever win Rose Bowl MVP honors twice. VY won a 2 BCS games with 1 being the National Championship against what many considered(at the time) the greatest team of all time. VY had a winning percentage of .938 which ranks 6th all time in the NCAA. VY had a passer rating of 163.9 which was 3rd in the NCAA in his final season. On that 2005 offensive team which won the National Championship only VY, David Thomas, Jamaal Charles, Ahmard Hall, Justin Blalock, and Lyle Sendlein still play in the NFL Others that went on to play in the league are, Limas Sweed, Selvin Young, and Kasey Studdard. Other on that team that didn't play much that year but played in the league are, Colt McCoy, Chris Ogbonnaya, Quan Cosby, Jordan Shipley, Cedric Dockery, and Tony Hills. Now the Defense was crazy loaded with NFL guys still playing today, Brain Robinson, Brain Orakpo, Tim Crowder,Henry Melton, Frank Okam, Roy Miller, Roderick Muckleroy, Terrell Brown, Cedric Griffin, Aaron Ross, Michael Huff, and Michael Griffin.

Agreed unless Wright is in the slot, then Vaccaro will be on him. He completely shut Swope down, 3 catches 36 yds.

Let's not forget that Texas held the K St to 120 total yards of offense. If it were not for 2 Ash INTs they may have only scored 7 points. I think Vaccaro will get the assignment of covering Wright. That will be a great matchup to watch. Has anyone seen Ryan Swope? Is he still missing?
