i have been wondering the same thing.
Henderson, LE, Pleasant Grove, Kilgore, Sherman, Greenville, Sulphur Springs, T-High, Royce City,and Denison, order may be off a little.

What wrap up do you mean, T-high was ranked number 10 in the state, MP was like 100, they played T-High very well, should have been 21-12 or 21-14, if kicker hadnt failed. You are not implying MP has the players to beat T-high on any given night. The MP players play as hard as they can, they scored 3 times on the first drive, you wouldnt get mad if the refs made sure you couldnt score. There may have been an upset in the making, but the refs made sure that didnt happen. Guess they wanted to make sure T-high would use them in the playoffs.See wrap up of Texas High-Mt Pleasant game. -
If you guys, say make something happen, say to get MP's coach kindly removed from the game, A technical, ya know something obvious, then MP will role all over SS. Get him upset, throwing the football at ref, or chewing the ref, getting out on the field to tell the ref how to do his job. SOMETHING! Then MP 45, SS 0 Unless THAT happens, deja vue all over again.
Codeman why dont you come out from behind this cover and go and face Jimmy Thompson face to face. I'm sure with your vast experience you could put your win lose record up against his, and tell him how to coach. By the way how many State Championships do you have?

well about all i can say for this game is if MP's offense shows up and actually gets rolling on all cylinders than this will be a close game and MP can win those but if they can't get the running game going than sulphur will win this one pretty easy cause that offense will show up for sure as much as i'd like to see MP win this one i think with the apparent coaching problems they have that sulphur springs rolls away with this one
What coaching problems do you mean, be specific, if you are going to take shots, shoot straight. I would like to know what experience you have to make a statement like that.

Bottom line H'ville came to play. Your right on H's defense. Solid. MP croud was somewhat mystified why MP changed up their O-line. Stevo, why didn't #5 Hurndon QB like all the previous games. Lets see, one massive pass, one touchdown! Or was he penalized because he just showed up the coaches son. Lets see, the 15 yard penalty at the kickoff after MP recovered---and MP could still not get a play called and called a time out. What in the world is going on. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen! And the kitchen ain's gonna get NO cooler for ya. On a good not Cat, We really liked your Band. Awsome group of players and the noise THEY made, helped your team.
codeman you are clueless, o-line didn't change any, and Hurndon was hurt in the 1st quarter of last game and didn't practice until thursday, if he hadn't been hurt he would have been playing defense. Hallsville came out the second half and out played MP and won the game. If you liked the band so much come watch them practice and go to competion with them. Don't make statements about kids that you don't know anything about

Unfortunately it is not the starter's responsibility to call a rain delay; that responsibility belongs to the meet referee. Until the referee calls for a rain delay, the meet goes on and all the starter/asst. starter can do is do their best to get a fair start. The referee can ask for the starter's opinion or the starter can approach the referee with concerns, but ultimately the decision lies with meet referee.

Bull, then why dont you see every applicant to every job in Texas. Jasper is bush league for putting these coaches in this postion. The ones that dont see it that way are not coaches. I would like to see the list of names that pulled out after the list came out.

Waldie would be the best bet for Timpson. He doesn't have any bagage from other schools and for the last four years he has been working with Jimmy T. and everyone in Timpson knows JT. If Timpson doesnt win with Waldie it wont be because Timpson got out worked. He will do what ever it takes.

Zone sounds to me like you may know a little more than you let own. That BETRAYAL thing kind of sticks with you doesn't it? You ever been betrayed, or stabbed in the back? Worst than that were you ever, thrown out to the dogs when you were really down, and having a tough time. I bet you could really put some light on this subject. Open some peoples eyes, about some of the people envolved this.In other words you just made my case. They turned on him!!!They did not believe he could do the job.
So its time to leave. Its like nofear13 said. The new guy will always be looking over his shoulder waiting for the knife. Mauk is in a no win situation. He will be bitter even if you don't think he should. He is human and the hurt will always be there.
Believe me I know how betrayal by friends feels.

This has nothing to do with Mauk, but how could the new guy ever trust him, knowing he applied for the same job thinking he was the best man. Wouldn't he be second guessing him on everything he does. Isn't there an unwritten rule that if you are at a school and apply for the Head job and don't get it, you usually move, out of common courtsey to the new guy.

UHDAWGFAN, Union Hill couldn't have done any better. John Woodard is a quality coach and man. He will work very hard to make UH a winner again. Just give hima chance and understand the world wasn't created in a day. Give him a week. Great motivator and a hard worker!The oc from dallas was not chosen and so far 3 have resigned blair/benson/tiger and i hear there could be more and john woodard of mt pleasant has accepted the job as ad/head coach he has been at mt pleasant for 2 years and before that in south texas for years. union hill has some issues that need to be addressed but can't really say for it will be considered bashing but our community knows what the problems have been and hopefully we are going in the right direction.
