    Many prayers are needed for the family of David Largent. David passed away Sunday morning in a Houston hospital. He leaves a wonderful wife, Daniella, 4 precious children, a loving family, and many, many friends. David was from Centerville and coached in Marlin, Waco, and currently Huntsville. His funeral will be Sunday afternoon, August 17, at 12:30, with visitation Saturday from 5-8pm. Services are at the Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home at 1700 Normal Park Drive in Huntsville. There is a fund or account being set up, but I don't have all the details about it yet. David was like a son to us and will forever remain in our hearts.

    I'm so proud of the Alto Boys' Track team for their regional championship last Saturday in Palestine. Way to go, guys and coaches!!!

    Congratulations to Coach and yourself on another exciting season. I know the end result wasn't what you and Coach wanted for the kids and the school but it was still a very successful year. Appreciate the hard work and dedication you both put forth. Have a wonderful 'off-season.'
