Totally different team. He couldn't win in Hemphill on just his offense alone you know that. A team has to have both to win... An offense and defense.

I know your not bashing his name but your making other people think he's this great superstar that Hemphill can't do without. He hates the spotlight. He doesn't want to be put on that pedestal. He does his job quietly and likes it that way. This is a public forum and I can't stop anyone from posting but it's does no good to focus on the past. He and Jordan had some great times when they played. I like to remember those and think about what's ahead.

I'm asking you to please stop using Justin's name to bash Hemphill's program. We all know he's a special kid and we know about the way he was treated there as well. They love you as long as your winning except for the jealous moms that wanted him gone so little Johnny could finally play. He worked as hard as he could for Hemphill to win. When he got hurt the rumors starting flying about how he just quit and give up on the team. Those that really know him totally know without a doubt that was not true. So bash Hemphill for their faults if you still want to but do it without his name. Hemphill will be fine in a few years after they have a chance to rebuild. They are headed in a good direction. He's happy and he's a winner at whatever he chooses in life.

TexanFan220 is right.....This isn't about Justin and Hemphill anymore, this is about Hemphill moving forward. Justin did what he could with what he had. He's started a new journey and he's playing football because he loves competition, so let's not put too much pressure on him to win a state title. Falls City already earned a good name for themselves before Justin got there. Good luck to all.

To TxFight...What exactly would you like to say about Twine? He didn't play but 2 or 3 games last year.... Are you saying because of him playing, thats why they lost so much?

I should correct and say I have since been told it was a parent of one of the players that was hanging out at the dugout. Not a fan. True fans don't spread lies about kids. Shaking off the hate.

Think about that. What coach would let the player say that without saying then go join your parents outside the dugout? There was no injury. It's a nasty rumor started by haters on our side (Hemphill), he asked to pitch but was never put in. He's a competitor to the end. Yes, his day started out as an off day Friday but everyone does have those days. Hemphill was not ready to play like they did Thursdsy night. We have some fans that love him when he wins for Hemphill but talk about him dirty when he doesn' come through. I want to say great job to Luke Byley for his job on the mound Thursday. The Supt. and AD/HFC have both been gone for a few weeks now, but there are no details on either one. How are we supposed to move forward when there is no transparency on both these 2 guys leaving? What did they do or not do? Is this just another way of saying " your as good as fired, so leave now" ? Enlighten me please oh wise posters :)
