  1. Hats off to y’all. Malakoff coach came in with a game plan and executed it to the fullest. Good luck along the way.
  2. I have VERY thick skin. Anyone who has ever known me would say the same. I must say that it is okay to agree to disagree. Like I stated earlier, every fan of their team will argue that their team has the advantage. It happens in every sport; little league, middle school, high school, college, and pro. I just try to keep it respectful. What is all boils down to is matchups, play calling, and execution. In my John Madden’s voice, “At the end of the day, whoever scores the most touchdowns wins the game.”
  3. Rattled up?? . I’ve been keeping my cool. A rattled person usually revert to name calling...ie Money Mike. Name calling usually happens when a person can no longer defend himself. I’ve always kept it respectful. Didn’t you read my earlier post?
  4. So you are going by what they PROBABLY did? I can’t tell you if they did or didn’t. Only thing I can do is tell you what I see. What if they played their staters til the end? So you are still using the logic that Jefferson is not as good as we say we are because Mineola scored 22 and we kept our starters in?
  5. Tell me where I asked whether or not if Jefferson was good. I questioned the defense of Malakoff by posting the box score and you responded with “So what happen with Mineola scoring 22 points on Friday? You guys are a top 5 team and you allowed that many points with all this speed and explosive players. Smh. It's the playoffs anything can happen.“ How quickly we forget!
  6. C’mon, man. All of us are amateur analyst. That’s the beauty of SDC. We get to talk trash to the opposing fans (in a respectful way, ie..no name calling) and when the game is over, the losing team’s fans have to eat crow. I just hope it not my Dawgs!
  7. You are saying Jefferson is not good because Mineola hung around and scored 22. I only questioned your logic about you all having a great defense when Pottsboro scored 35. Keep up and stop deflecting.
  8. I said the same thing. I wanted to watch the Gladewater game. Regardless of the outcome, I’m going to what the winners of these two the next round!
  9. If you look at my initial comment, then you will see that I said this will be interesting. Like any other fan, they will bring up the strong point where they feel their team have the advantage. What we are saying is no different from you guys saying that "Our O-line is struggling", "you have a great defensive front seven" or your RB are studs." See how that works? It goes both ways .
  10. Once again Mineola put up 21 on Tatum, West Rusk, and Gladewater. Coming from a strong district will toughen you up for the strong teams in the playoffs. All three of them are strong teams. Pottsboro played weaker teams, that’s why I FEEL they couldn’t stop you all. I only brought up your comment because you are basically saying SmithDawg had an excuse. BTW, we lost our starting QB the first game of the season and our starting RB didn’t play until the 5th or 6th game of the season. We were still kicking butt.
  11. Although that is true, I was only responding to the comment where someone said “Our o-line was struggling.“ If a team get that many yards and score a lot of points and still lose, then the defense (not the o-line) is the problem.
  12. Here what comes? A question was asked. An answer was given. No different from someone asking “What happened with the two loses you all had and you all replied with “Both/all three of our RB were out those two games.
