From what I am hearing school board hired the weakest sup they could find so the board could micro manage every decision. Story as old as time

I know without fail the best offense for a program to be running. And it works EVERY time. The best offense is the offense is your kids can execute. Period. End of story, Some places need to be running Wing T or Bone. Some Slot T. Some Various forms of spread. Some I. The question is which one fits your kids.

Stay FAR away from this one. Administration is not supportive of athletics.

Coach Wood is one of the best defensive minds I ever worked against. Heckuva a guy too.

Having Coached in everything from 2a-6a, IMHO it is harder to win the higher the level. That is just my take on it.

It is shocking that I have to point this out but doing something at a high level for a long period of time counts for something. Also Buck has done it at a higher level. That counts for something too. Finally, who exactly is this "Stuart" you speak of? I am not aware of this person who sits in Zeus' chair at the pantheon of Texas HS coaches.

I got no dog in this fight both Coaches are exceptional. But I got to give the nod to Coach Buck on this one. He has been producing at the highest level for a much longer period of time.

Exactly it just creates division among parents between the boys and girls especially with rules and accountability. You got to have one face for the Athletic Department. One set of rules. Not to even mention that public schools need one more administrator like they need a hole in the head.

What got me is the "conservative groups pushing vouchers". God forbid parents get sick and tired of crap rotten public schools. The nerve.

Glad to see that MW ended the dual AD for boy's and girl's. Never seen that work anywhere. I never understood the sense in it. athletic programs need one person in charge. And no school needs yet another Administrator. We have to dang many of those already. Just my .02

To folks who do not like their appraisal rate, I get it. But unless you have formally gone down to the Appraisal DIstrict and fought your appraised rate, you deserve what you get. over the years every time I have fought mine I have won. It takes about an hour to do so and a few minutes of research beforehand. Just saying.

Which is another reason I prefer to run my offense out of Shotgun. I noticed over the course of my career that eventually you are going to be down by two scores in the fourth quarter. I like the opportunity to be able to do something about it. Also, I got really sick. and tired of having to account for nine in the box.

For every school like this that has been everyone's Homecoming Date since forever I will remind you that Stephenville and Lake Travis (just to name two) were doormats for decades until the right person took the job there. Stuff changes... If you want a shot sometimes you gotta take a chance.
