  1. If we got off the bus it would be better than last year lol.
  2. Witch sreet is the street we were on when you told that nice officer "wnere we come from it 's legal to drive in flower gardens".
  3. They are fun to watch since the coaches have gotten their heads in the game a little more. To be honest I left the Tenaha game thinking we wouldn't make it past the first round for having to overcome ourselves and the opposing team(penalties, penaltiesand.................................penalties and did I mention penalties). As in years past though I do the overreacting they do the coaching. Pretty good relationship I'm thinking.
  4. It'll be a pretty good rematch when Tenaha and Mt.Enterprise meets again.
  5. I'm just going to say beggars can't be choosy Blessed, and if you do make it down there look me up I'm still ugly jst a little more (blessed if you will) in the midsection.
  6. That's quite alright Ronster, to be honest that was probably RJC'S and Bigcats younguns they are just a touch homely. And yessir they are tenacious, win, lose or draw that won't change I'm proud of em.
  7. I'm all about hearing you're sermon RJC, but as host of the drive I'll give you the standard thirty minutes and I get the rest. And yessir they literally play over their heads as well as I've seen.
  8. Now my feelings is all banged up and hurt to, Ronster done went and said we got ugly chilluns.
  9. I have no doubts about that at all, God bless.
  10. Thanks Guns, if thats the case it should be interesting, we tend to do a little smashing of the facial oriface ourselves.
  11. Great to hear and give my congrats to Jake. I wasn't at the game. My brother drowned in lake cherokee in july and I have been sitting around having a pity party, the good news is I have remembered that God has been way to generous to me, for me to continue with that nonsense. So I plan on loading my dad up this fri. and going to support these young men and coaches that I've always been so proud of. After all Paul said it best " I recon the sufferings of this world do not compare to the glory that awaits."
  12. I suppose I should probably give my thoughts on this game since I posted this topic. I'm looking forward to this matchup our coaches (in my opinion) have made great progress with our offensive line and I'm defintly liking the progress made with all those stinking penalty's. In my opinin the penalty's cost us the Tenaha game. I'm still proud of my boys though and I'm picin em to win it 32- 28.
  13. I agree, and how are you brother? Is you're son doing well also?
  14. It's my understanding the game will be at Teague friday. Does anyone know anything about Frost? Thank you and God bless!
  15. He is having a great night......................good to see.
  16. I have a good friend who pastors a Baptist church named Hopewell just outside Hughes Springs would you happen to know him?
  17. Thanks to all. I must admit when I posted this it was one of those moments for me that I was warned of by people close to me that have suffered the loss of a loved one. You'll have you're mind on other things and all of a sudden there it is. Since you all have been so kind I would like to add a little more. I have been a preacher now for five years, pastor of a little country church for three. As we met with the funeral home that week I told my family I would preach his funeral. It felt so much like something I should do, and as it was no one else could. We had his funeral at 2:00 p.m. on a saturday, it was not until 7:30 a.m. the same morning that I felt I couldn't do it. This resulted in the most humbling experience I've ever none when I found myself flat on my face in prayer, not a beautifull prayer, not a articulate prayer, just simply repeating....... you promised Father. After this prayer I understood, I couldn't..........but He could! Not only did God bless me with the ability to do what had to be done, but the average attendance went from 25 to 45 at this little church in the woods the following day. There are verses that explain what happened for me that day, but the one I keep going back to is Romans 8:26. Take a look at it when you can we may not always know what to ask for, but He always knows what we need.
  18. I lost my brother to Lake Cherokee about eight weeks ago he was 44, I'm 45, he never was a member of this forum but always enjoyed reading it. I never was able to get him to go to many games with me, but he liked to call me when I was at these games and give me updates. We played football together at Mt.Enterprise and he was supposed to be runningback with me my senior year but we didn't have enough players that year and couldn't field a team. Coaches called us the blues brothers. I write this for no other reason than to remind us all to make the memories now, make them good ones worthy of remembering. And p.s. Don't be upset with you're brother for calling you when the games a close one (lol).
