We won quite a few when I worked there (08-10). The coach had one of our track stars on the girls side at forward and she just schooled some girls on breakaway goals. But yes, Marshall’s girls soccer program, overall, has been real bad. Still manages to get plenty of participation though.

I don’t even care about another raise. I’d happily take one. However, look at the facilities the state allows kids to be educated in. Some of them are downright pathetic. State-approved 3rd grade history text books are written like a 3rd grader wrote it. The STAAR is almost completely irrelevant The list is endless

Olcott is a voucher guy. I am going against Abbott (who I haven't been a huge fan of anyway) on this one and voting Rogers based on public school teacher support alone.

Here is the funny part, I was reading an article with my 5th grader about inflation and the actual value of money. Inflation is based on a simple formula of what something used to cost compared to what it costs now. Then the value is based on the same period of income increases or decreases. So take that on every individual item that you can purchase from rice to houses. The inflation increase since Biden took office is at an exponentially higher rate than almost any other time in history. We have a negative value in the dollar bill, meaning its spending power has decreased. I am tired of this geriatric dementia patient trying to tell me that everything is alright.

Let's say there was an actual split. I could see the states that support split from the ones that don't. We would have the Republic of America and the Democracy of America. One would be led by some guy in a wheelchair and the other by a demented old buffoon who barely speaks the English language. They would be allies with different governing styles, allies who kind of hate each other (see Canada), and businesses would still choose whoever gave them the best deal (see China). Despite my comedic truth spoken above, I pray that there is no bloodshed. Our immigration policy is hot garbage and democrats are trying to prove that we don't need borders, as long as the immigration stops in Texas. As soon as it hits their beloved NYC or Chicago, they want action. We need to curb it, and the only way to do it right now is a complete stoppage and we need a process that is thorough but faster than what we have now. We need a heavily manned border. I see a way to hire 10,000 border patrol agents. Fire 10,000 IRS agents and boom, funded border patrol.
