I just know how every school I’ve been at has operated, and they have all required resignation letters to post a job.

This. Bowie County raised my value like $35k over last year! Not sure I could sell my house for what they say it’s worth. All that to say that the schools still end up getting their money. These appraisal districts are getting out of hand.

Teach and coach in a rural 2A: I have 5 classes (only 3 preps this year used to be 4). Coach 4 sports including 2 at the same time. In the 60s salary wise in my 10th year at the school. No plans to leave.

Well, congrats to the Bowie players on a hard fought win. However, their fans are dishonorable, unsportsmanlike, and should be ashamed of their behavior during our band’s halftime show. Blowing your stupid air horns in the stands as they are beginning their show is a despicable act, and then later in the show you blew your train horn while our kids were still performing. Incredibly mind blowing that you all would do something like that. Our fans were very respectful of your band and cheered for them after their performance as we always do for every visiting band. We even wished BOTH bands good luck at contest tomorrow. I cannot begin to fathom what would cause anyone to want to do that to kids performing their craft, regardless of rivalry. If I’m Eddie May I’m finding out who did it and if it was a student there should be consequences. If it was an adult that is even more shameful but what can you do? And tell your train horn guy not to blow it while a band is performing.

Unless the coach something besides football. I’ve had weeks where I’ve driven Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday to out of town games.
