  1. Van comes to mind for me. Moffatt does a great job there.
  2. Van.. I really hope they surprise some folks when district rolls around
  3. http://m.kltv.com/kltv/db/330566/content/Jic0xnDW/gallery
  4. Sounds like ND needs a defense. They are averaging 50 a game and are 2-3 if I'm not mistaken.
  5. closer than I had imagined. Glad to see that QB playing so well this year for Van. He's a good kid.
  6. Proud of every single one of the Vandal football players. They played with a lot of heart in the 2nd half especially.
  7. It will be freezing tonight, but it will not stop the Vandals from staying hot. Tonight they will show up in Rockwall and give it all they've got. Bryain Roberts is a beast; like I've aforementioned. The receiver he is covering will not get much attention. Riley Krumvieda is a stud outside backer. Going hard the whole game, this guy is no slacker. Layton Myers has been scoring all year; TD's left and right. It shouldn't be any different as we play Paris tonight. Matt Savis will truck anyone, not afraid of his opponent. A definite threat to score, at any given moment. Borgeson should have a few sacks, playing on the line. When he contains the QB the defense should be just fine. Accompanying Myers at receiver, is the studly number six. Luke McGowan with solid hands is sure to get his fix. Kendrick Jones has the speed at any time he could score. Any defender trying to cover him will surely have a chore. Jax Tobias at safety, he might have another pick, With his speed on defense he can make an QB sick. Another safety stud goes by the name of Brett Doring. All year he has been deep and kept opponents from scoring. Xavier Sherman at corner, is sure to lockdown receivers. A long pass or touchdown, he is allowing neither. Number 11 Peter Maddox has been slinging the rock all year. And tonight the trend shall continue, the streak will not stop here. Look for Cooper Bledsoe to again be player of the week. His aggressiveness and speed simply cannot be beat. Reeves and Houston at linebacker, laying down the hits. I would not at al be surprised if the offense would want to quit. Josef Ruiz is clutch; his solid kicking game will wreck. He is known for keeping the return teams in check. Cole and Sartain will shut the offense down. Sartain is known for batting passes to the ground. Buchanan, Boroughs, and Ford on the D-line will be beast. I feel a sack lunch coming, enough to be a feast. Platter and Thomas are threats on the offensive side. They will "eat" tonight, its just a matter of time. Cody Jones is another player who can cover a receiver all night. He might have an INT or 2 if he plays the position right. Deundre is always capable of gaining major yards. This kid is fast, and stopping him is hard. Hunter Redmond has been an anchor all year, smashing whoever carries the rock. Good luck trying to block 35, his motor never stops. Jacob Fattig can come in at any moment and light up a back. Or if they decide to pass he might get there for the sack. Dike, Carpenter, and Boyd are experts in protecting Maddox. Gandy, Santos and Etheridge, also help and provide holes for Matt Savis. Nosworthy, Laredo, and Chambers can also provide a block. Helping to get first downs when Thomas totes the rock. If you want to watch a stud D-tackle, look no further. Chitwood is the guy to get through and hurt 'em. Last but not least, there is Abel Laredo. On the D-line causing havoc like a freaking tornado. If I left anyone off, I deeply apologize. One thing is for certain though, we will leave Paris traumatized. I am extremely proud of the 10-0 team. Entering the 2014 playoffs with a full head of steam. Let's go into Rockwall tonight and take care of business. Everyone come watch, it will be a great game to witness.
  8. When Van wins tonight, it will be a perfect 10-0 regular season. Hopefully the Vandals will enter the playoffs as undefeated. Versus Kaufman it is the night of the senior. And I hope they all play with a must win demeanor. The secondary will be ready to play, thanks to coach Pounds. Always coming up clutch on crucial third downs. I think it's due time for a shoutout to Coach Schmitdke. His guys are a threat to score, and get down the field quickly. Redmond leading the defense at the linebacker position. Always looking for a big-time collision. Krumvieda is the same, and Ben Buchanan too. Always causing havoc to whatever side the opponents ran it to. Kendrick, Layton, and the receivers are all weapons the Vandals wield. Dangerous weapons for Peter, throwing the ball down field. It should be a win for the Vandals no doubt. It would be nice to see everyone in town there for the rout. The offense should be scoring early and often. Getting the W against the Lions of Kaufman. 49-7
  9. The Van Vandals are in position for a win streak of nine. If good football is played, they should come out just fine. Peter Maddox should torch a defense once more. Or just hand the ball off to 4, 25, or 34. I look for the Tigers to score 14, maybe less. And the O of Van will have the opposition stressed. If the Tigers go deep, good luck against our corners. Bryain Roberts has been shutting kids down since his days in Pop Warner. Of course there is Jones and Xavier Sherman. How many INT's tonight is still to be determined. Brice, Burroughs, Ben, and Chitwood should all have tackles for a loss or no gain. I suppose the O-line coach at WP should go ahead and buy some Rogaine. He will be pulling his hair out, when the D-line gets sacks. And in the backfield, destroying the backs. It will surely be a scary Halloween, if you're a true Tiger fan. Getting whipped up all night by the Vandals of Van. 49-13
  10. 8-0 is near, Next we play against the Panthers of Mabank. Should be a W for the boys, sorry the poem is way late. Mabank pick your poison, McGowan, Platter, Kendrick, or Myers Doesn't matter because tonight these guys will be on fire. At this point I'm feeling sort of sorry for the Mabank Panthers. Not sure if the defensive coordinator will have any type of answers. Same for the other side, Van should hold strong. Making the OC feel like everything he does is wrong. For the Panther faithful, the night could be long. All weekend they will be humming the Vandal fight song. Don't look for the Red defense to ever, ever soften. They will play lights out until the nail is in the coffin. The runningbacks will have no problem weaving their way through traffic. While the big O-line continues to work their magic. Knock on wood, after giving them a compliment. Santos, Gandy, and Carpenter, will all be dominant. One thing is for sure, Van will play with a lot of class. No doubt in my mind we will kick that Panther... butt. 63-0
  11. Jaron Rainey, he knows his X's and O's. It's really a great staff all around.
