  1. gotta give it to CHill...nobody wants to lose and especially a homecoming game at that
  2. i would've liked to have seen godfrey's buckeyes vs. johnsons lobos last year. High powered offenses along with stingy defenses.
  3. lol thats a good point. Could wind up being a case of teams literally "beating themselves"..all starts with the "pen" then the "pads"..thats why they're STUDENT ATHLETES and not "ATHLETE-STUDENTS".
  4. Who's your district winner? Giving all a chance to voice their opinion on a "High-octaine" district filled with athletes who all believe their teams has a legitimate shot at a playoff spot this year..
  5. Nice to come home and watch my bears get a hard fought victory. Had me sweating bullets there for a min. towards the end!

  7. Agreed. The bears will face good qb's pretty much every friday night of district play..even though we do look good on the offensive side of the ball, our defense has looked somewhat exposed at times and although the past qb's were decent players, the likes of Manley, Even Brown from Spring Hill, can easily pick apart a defense. Should be a good district to keep an eye on from top to bottom, just sad knowing that somebody's going to be left out at the end of the season. Good luck to all
  8. They might win the 4th quarter on the box score in saturdays paper..jk but gonna go with gladewater by 2 tds.Look for a lot of points to be put up by both teams
  9. alright appreciate that web site..very helpful
  10. Any idea on who's leading east texas in rushing? Corey Davis of Gladewater seems to be the talk of the town around here but i know there's somebody else out there performing well this season.
  11. yeah that was a long and weird tournament...seemed like karma came back around at the wrong time for the bears...i heard they hit a buzzer-beater to beat rusk and then lost on a last-second put back by sabine that would've put them in the championship game
  12. that's crazy but good win by the roughnecks...they play very disciplined basketball and in the end...that is one advantage they have over the athletic teams in the tourney...best of luck to all and hoping my bears bring home the third place trophy...hopefully they'll learn to play hard for 32 min. and not 31:59
  13. good luck at TCU...represent not only east texas...but your district and always maximize your potential best of luck
  14. so it seems like everybody's picking bullard to win...it'll be an interesting season for basketball in this district...best of luck to all
