When the Superintendent hired the current head coach/assistant AD. It was a favor repayed. Supposedly his father gave our Superintendent his first coaching job down close to the coast. He was offered the job before Sorensen took it and it was offered again after Sorensen was pushed out. With the promise of a Turf field and four classes/years of talent like he had never seen. And they were setting up the next guy before they retired.

If so, We may have more injuries and kids trying to transfer.

The Tatum Superintendent and the assistant AD should have never let that happen. They put coach FRAZIER in this embarrassing situation. The superintendent's recommendations have never been questioned. He knew he did not have full support of the board but he thought he could push it on through. I am very proud of the four board members that stood up for what they thought was right for Tatum ISD. As you can tell most people don't have a lot of faith in Coach Evans recommendations to replace himself and we would prefer him not to be involved in the process.

About 12 Division 1 recruit's = 2 state championships. Tatum was good before he came to Tatum. They went 0 and 10 this past season. Watching video of the up coming game does not get you prepared it gets you hurt. You have to go outside and practice.

Tatum's Superintendent and assistant AD were fully aware that they did not have 100% of the boards support before the meeting last night. I am sure coach FRAZIER is a good man. But this goes to show that the Tatum people want a change in the athletic program. I personally don't think that coach Evans should be involved in the hiring process. It's gonna make him look very bad if the next coach has a 10 and 0 season. He is obviously going to look for someone that runs a program like he does and it obviously doesn't work.
