It was a combination of both. At the end of the day it came down to not having a game plan and kids just giving up or being confused. I think the administration did a very good job on this hire

True but earlier in the game we had 1 covering 2 with 1 safety over the top and that’s why the seam route was open. That’s been something we haven’t defended well at all this season. Plus they would’ve been stupid to throw the ball on that last drive bc an incomplete pass stops the clock

You’re right! Harrison is a dangerous athlete but he does get himself in trouble…a lot. Now to be fair, their o line play is horrendous so maybe he’s not looking downfield because he’s too worried about what’s coming from the edge. I know we were in the backfield the whole game so he was having to run. It would serve him better if their coach rolled him out more and shorter throws instead of trying to hit Riley deep every time. Maybe some designed draw plays too. I’m not a coach though. I just see potential in him that’s not getting utilized.
