Floyd's has a great Chicken & Sausage Jambalaya. I frequently travel to Southern Louisiana and Floyd's is the best I have ever had!

I would pay a pretty penny to have a DVD of that game! Say......$25.00 with all proceeds going to the Booster Club! Heck, I already saved my ticket stub just because that game meant so much. It would be even more special to have the audio of the radio broadcast.

Went back and looked at the stream. Score was 45-44 Harlingen. Abilene kicks the PAT. It was good! Personal foul on Harlingen so they give Abilene the option to take the point and go into 3rd overtime or put the ball 1-1/2 yard out and try again. They elected to go for Two! Lined up two backs but the ball was bobbled and he did not make it in! Tough Loss for the Eagles. Maybe they should have tried a Lobo Suprise!

radio in my ear, binoculars around my neck and my iphone on my leg. A guy asked me to check the Rangers score. I had to tell him no.. The app worked great! The only question I have is at the end of the game can I post that it is final or is that an admin task?

As other posters have stated on this thread, being academically unacceptable does not help! However, the high drop out rate can directly be attributed to students who are not in this country legally. As I am told by by some LISD staff. illegal's drop out of high school about as fast as they enroll in elementry school. Ironically, this is also a big contributing factor to being academically unaceptable at the elementry level.

You must think Longview has a short memory. I think Longview will do the bounce back after JT broke the streak at Lobo Stadium last year.

I am sure no one has forgot what a big bruising back can do....(Pflugerville still stings) It will take a pack to bring him down. I have faith in the Lobo defense. I only hope the offense plays with better intensity. Good luck Lobos. Keep that district streak alive.

Explain this one to me! Horn lines up. The Center puts his hands on the ball. He then takes his hands off the ball to look to the sideline for the play. the Lobo defender picks up the ball. That should be Lobo Football! Instead Lobos get a five yard penalty. I happened to catch it on film.

This is for all of the mis-informed Longview haters. Yes Longview has it's problems like all schools do. However, to say that the education is sub par is ridiculous. My daughters lowest grade is in pre AP Physics. It was an 89. it does'nt look so bad with the 100 99 97 94 and others, all higher. We too were mis-informed about the quality of instruction and opportunities Longview offers. We were going to consider other area schools. I can tell you the best thing we did was to leave her in LISD and focus on keeping her in the best classes for her. I have attended the last two graduation ceremonies. I was simply amazed at the college credits these kids obtain. As a involved parent I can say the diciplene has drastically improved once the former superintendent was replaced. I don't agree with everything this one does but I feel safe about sending my child there. You show your ignorance when you bad mouth what some colleges have told us was the best in East Texas public education.

I don't spend as much time on this board as I would just because of the bickering. When you look at it it is started by people who just want to get a rise out of you. So what do some Lobo fans do? Throw Gas on a burning Flame by responding. May I suggest when these trollers initiate their rants, we as lobo fans who want to discuss the team and their opponents, simply copy their post and say "NO REPLY"

I agree with you Bobcatfan. The problem with KYKX is they are tring to be something to everyone and end up being nothing to anyone. They have a good signal and yet they can't or won't support the most followed, most watched, and most discussed team in the same town they broadcast from. It makes me sick to go to Lobo stadium and have to try to tune into a station from Tyler. 1. You hunt through 5 stations of Mexican Music to realize you just cant' get it. 2. Forget KFRO AM you can't get them after dark or you have to keep adjusting your radio to maybe hear a word or two. The guys in the booth do a really good job. It would be nice to hear them. Instead we get The TOTALLY AWSOME List HA HA UGH....

I am not sure about the taunting but the Bottle throwing incident was from the Marshall band area. That is where the cops went to escort the person out. The Kelly kid on your team is awsome. He played a very good game on both sides of the ball. I was very impressed

I feel sorry for the kid. What is his dad teaching him by this? Think about how his former school had their record stripped away because of his actions and because daddy has money he can just pack up and go somewhere else. You know the kid just wants to play ball. If I were one of the decision makers at the UIL I would allow him to play but it would not be at SLC,one of, if not the, wealthiest schools in Texas. I would ONLY allow him to play, if he followed the residency rules set forth by the UIL and stipulate it had to be at the poorest school in Texas. Let Daddy spend some of that money in a community that it would do some good!
