State Quarterfinals: China Spring vs Carthage Friday, Dec. 4 @ 7:30pm Midlothian Stadium Cougars will be the away team.

‘Twas a fun game, yes? Old school Tyson. That one hitter quitter kinda Tyson. Heh.

I want China Spring to run into Carthage. As an Alumni of Carthage who lives in China Spring, it’s fun watching this team play football this year. They are not on the level of Carthage, but that’s a boxing match I’d love to see.

When you talk to some of the older Alumni they will tell you that happened in 2003 too... Funny stuff. w

Someone convince me why the Rangers should sign an aging Lee? -
They still struggled. I don't care if a win is a win. Every team struggles. Carthage will be fine and should have a good outing next friday night.

A&M will not finish ahead of OU and Texas... How on earth to do you figure that? -
DALLAS (AP)—Goaltender Marty Turco’s(notes) time with the Dallas Stars is over. General manager Joe Nieuwendyk(notes) says the Stars will not re-sign Turco, who just completed his ninth season with the team. Nieuwendyk said Tuesday that he felt it was time to go “in a different direction.” Kari Lehtonen(notes), acquired from Atlanta in February, will go into next season as the team’s top goaltender. The 34-year-old Turco just completed a $22.8 million, four-year contract he signed in January 2006 that kept him from becoming a free agent at the end of that season. In 509 regular season games for Dallas, Turco won 262 games with a .911 save percentage and 2.31 goals-against average. He appeared in 47 playoff games.

You'd be surprised, friend. I would take Union / Jenks facilities over most colleges anyday.

FSN High School Spotlight is a Complete Joke...
chsspiritguard04 replied to tifire85's topic in High School Sports
They NEVER show love to East Texas unless a team is playing a team from the Metroplex... That said, it's always highlights of the metroplex team and NOT from an East Texas team... You'd think they would realize that East Texas has some pretty good football... :/ -
