Unfortunately, Henderson, New Diana, and Lancaster all dropped out within the past 48 hours. Mr. Campbell has cancelled the tournament in Longview.

Updated Information: At this time we have 12 Teams that have entered the tournament with no JVs or Second Teams from any school. We have Two 4-Field Complexes available so we should be able to play the event on Saturday Only. Each team will have 2 pool games that will lead into a 12-team bracket where you will play the other two games. Pool scores will not matter towards the tournament bracket. Teams will draw for Bracket position at sign-in (cash only). Teams in the event are Lancaster, New Diana, Mt Vernon, Kaufman, Shelbyville, Spring Hill, Henderson, Longview, Hallsville, Lovelady, Prairiland and Overton. This invitation is for High School Head Softball Coaches only. Bring your Varsity and JV to play in this Preseason Event. It's a jump on UIL practice which starts Friday, January 13, 2023. One Coach that sent his Team every year for 9 years says it really helped his team get ready for the upcoming season. Absolutely, No select teams will be allowed to play in this Event. 9th Warm Up Tournament Rules - January 12-13, 2019 Four game guarantee. Two pool games followed by double elimination bracket. Each team shall bat the entire roster (Limit of 15 batting) if they choose with Free substitution on defense. Courtesy runners for pitcher and catcher only. Pool games-60 minutes, finish the batter. Five runs max per half inning. Bracket games-70 minutes, finish the inning. Progressive ITB on ties. No If game. Undefeated team is home team for Championship Game. Run rules - A win if a team is ahead by: 12 after 3; 10 after 4 and 8 after 5. Blind draw at check-in for initial bracket position. Flip for home team. Home team keeps the scoreboard and reports winner and loser to LGSA board member who posts same on bracket board. NFHS (High School) rules will apply during the tournament. Tournament Director has right to change format of tourney to ensure timely finish. NO FIREARMS ARE ALLOWED INSIDE THE GATES OF THE TWO 4-FIELD COMPLEXES.
