You have to remember that the combined record of Every team Corsicana played before the Lindale game was 1-9. So how good was Corsicana?

Looks like those visitor stands are a little steep.

The Nac lines won't be any bigger than Lufkin has played against this year and maybe not as good IMO. We'll see the difference Friday night. If I remember right the Lufkin JV and Freshman both demolished Nac last year. Many of those same kids are on the varsity now. Just saying.

That better not happen or somebody will get rode out of town on a rail for sure and it won't be me. In fact not really worried about that happening again this year, unless I have misjudged this Lufkin Team again. ;)

If he can catch the ball....he has dropped 2 td passes in back to back week. Explain more why you think Nac will have success to the outside running the ball? We have two or three stud WRs, how does Nac stop them ?, just asking.

LP by at least a couple of scores over Nac WH @ JT this could be close but should not be, going with JT at home. Ennis if this game is at Ennis. Lindale @ Corsicana. Lindale has been playing good D against who they have played, Corsicana's opponents so far this year are 1-9. This game could go either way but I give the home team Corsicana the slightest of edge here. Just going by up to date stats and SOS so far.

Lufkin will take this game at home by 28. We give Lindale the same treatment in a few weeks. One Game at a time though....Nac first on hit list....

If that happens it will be a huge upset, one of those unbelievable moments in time and space. :)

Not expecting a mediocre season from Lufkin at all, do not judge us by our 1-2 record. We, Ennis and JT have played far better teams in pre season than any other team in 16-5A. If we had played most of the teams you other guys have played we all would all be 3-0 right now and not tested very well, while looking good against lesser competition. One thing is for sure, I will surely enjoy watching the rest of the season as it unfolds.

The combined record of the people Corsicana has played so far is 1-9, so just wonder how do you judge how improved your team is when none are ranked teams.

I think you guys are going to have a tough enough time before you ever come to Lufkin. Just saying. You need to be 4A again and maybe you have a little more success.

I think except for one , maybe two games in your district your going to see that alot this year. Fans headed home right after halftime.

This should be a real barn burner. The good news here is one team will actually be temporarily tied for 1st place with Longview and Marshall after week one of district.

Sorry not going to happen this year. Why do you Lindale fans rank Lufkin so low this year? It's not like we have been playing pansy teams in pre distrct. What big time 5A or 6A teams have you played?, and bold talk to say you come to Abe and win? If you were Longview, I would say maybe, however Lindale could not come close to beating Longview, Tyler Lee or West Monroe. Chapel Hill or Van? Lufkin would have ground them a new one.

Lobos start district 2-0 with easy wins , back ups getting plenty of playing time against Pine Tree and Greenville. The Lobos would have to roll over and play dead for either of these team to be within 30 of them. Sulphur Springs and Mt. Pleasant will be just as bad. Lobos have one game to really get by, that is Marshall. Texas High and Hallsville no competition either. Longview by at least 30 this week.

Ohhhh, then JT, but it still could be a tight game if the JT D does not play better.

Nac puts everything on the line to beat us, at all cost. the game means more to them than it does to us, because they had not beat us since 1992 and we got caught the last two years. I think they woke us up again.

My picks: Lufkin, closer than some think, we win by at least 20. My head says JT, but this is in Whitehouse and this could go either way. Ennis, nothing else to say. Corsicana, the slightest edge, only because they are at HOME,, but their preseason competition is 1-9 and Corsicana didn't win by much against them, but it would not surprise me that Lindale wins this game.

It certainly may be different this year, but that win we had last year was at your place and not ours, it was our first meeting with you too, so I don't see the comparison. Most teams just don't walk into Abe and win that often. Good teams have won there on occasion but they fight for every point and yard to pull it out. Playing Chapel Hill, Carthage and Van does not prepare you to play at the Abe. Corsicana has played and narrowly defeated Justin NW, The Colony and Grandbury who have a combined record of 1-9 as of this week. How that all translates to playing 16-5A, who knows. Normally if you don't play the tougher competition in preseason, even if you have a loss or two, that usually translates to your play in district, how can you know really what you have if you only play schools your size. The highest ranked team you have played is current #17 4A ranked Carthage. We will see pretty quick starting Friday night, I think Lindale is Lufkin's Homecoming game. :)
