  1. Whitehouse would be at the top to me and Sherman may be coming. Crawford was a pretty good head scratcher along with Paris.
  2. Not even close. They did play a little 7on7 this year and trying to throw more than in past. But he is still primarily a dangerous runner even with the big knee brace on.
  3. No D in the Can this year. So JT can call the Touchdown play just about anytime they want.
  4. Rock is pretty old so I would guess that Spur has to have one of the oldest.
  5. Acree won a state championship. Denbow made the state finals. Wilson made the finals in 1997 and the semi-finals in 1994. Not sure how anyone would think that Coach Castles was more of an offensive coach when he spent a lot of time with his back towards the field on the chalkboard trying to explain his defense to the players. He had some great schemes on defense to get pressure and stop the run. The players didn't always execute it and he was a bit too aggressive at times which ended up in big plays, but he knows some defense.
  6. The Dallas Cowboys for about 15 years now. Not really any HS teams that I hate other than on the week we play them and really that was only hate when I was playing. But the Cowboys are just a terrible organization now and look to be so for the rest of Jerry Jones life. I hate what they represent, failure and no class. Winning without class like the University of Miami did back in the day is far more tolerable than losing without class.
  7. Pretty sure every team in the district already knew the challenge of facing JT this year. I just don't think it will matter, they should be that good.
  8. JT wins the district hands down and shouldn't even really have much of a challenge. Corsicana's defense is definitely rebuilding and will take some time to gel and still give up points. The offense will be fine and carry the team.
  9. Playing past thanksgiving has always been the benchmark of a good season to me. Anything more is gravy and anything less has a very empty feeling.
  10. I don't see how anyone could pick against JT. We lost most of our team to graduation and they lost their coach. I wish it was closer to the end of the season but at least this year there will be time for the new guys to get some snaps before district starts.
  11. Ryan, Hachie, SSprings and JT and a 3 day roadtrip to Nac. That is very tough, I would be super happy with 9-1 or 8-2.
