Thursday night Hallsville 9th beat Jacksonville 34-19.The JV teams tied 50-50.That must have been a defense battle. Hallsville got some of their players back off injury so it could be a good game.Trying to change their offensive and defensive schemes have caused some problems. The number of boys coming out has increased immensly.Watched the 8 th grade Tuesday and there seems to be some decent talent coming up.

Hallsville has signed a contract with NFHSnetwork to broadcast their football games this fall.

The Bobcats Baseball lost two games to Sulphur Springs 3-2 and 4-3 in bi-district playoffs. The Ladycats softball team beat Lindale 7-2 and 5-4 to advance to Area round where they lost to North Forney 3-2 but came back to defeat them 5-2 and 3-2 to advance to Regional quarter finals where they will play Suphur Springs.

Hallsville Ladycats will play North Forney next round in 5A softball playoffs.

Hallsville will play as first seed in softball via an agreement between the Jacksonville coach and the Hallsville coach.They will play Lindale in first round.Game one in Hallsville Thursday night,game two in Lindale Friday night.

Ladycats lose game two to Forney 4-3

Ladycats lose game one to Forney 4-1. Game was tied 1-1 going into top 7th.Forney pitcher is lights out,throws in low to middle sixties. Our pitcher Madison Melton pitched great but finally wore down in seventh.We had a couple opportunities to score with runners on base but couldn't get the necessary hit.

Halsville boys lose two to Prosper 9-2 and7-0 bow out of playoffs as regional quarter final champs Ladycats take two from Granbury 5-3 and 3-1 to advance to Regional finals and will play Forney

Hallsville boys advance with 3-1 and 5-3 victories over Frisco Wakeland. Ladycats advance with 5-4 and 6-5 victories over Prosper.

Bobcats win third game 12-2 to advance.won first game 5-0 lost second game 5-4.Will play Frisco Wakeland for area championship. Ladycats lost first game 3-2 to Frisco Wakeland but came back to win games two and three.(5-4 &9-1)Will face Prosper in regional quarter final game or games.
