Danny Sharpe of the Kilgore Bulldogs just broke his arm in three places :cripple: and will not be pitching the rest of the season. The starter for the dogs tonight wll be Joe Zach Mays. I'm calling a 5 inning blowout. Hallsville's season will be over for good tonight. :sorcerer:

They lost due to errors? HA. Nice excuse. Kilgore beat them fair and square and if you take the errors away, guess what? WH still loses! :whome: By the way, Kilgore had 11 hits despite the errors, and how many did WH have? Oh, 1. Gosh. :hmm: Take away Kilgore's errors and how many runs does WH have? Oh, they get shut out. That's right. Hmm. I love this game. ;)

I'm sure Sharpe won't have another night like he did against Henderson earlier in the year, it will probably be better. :whome:

"By know means am I arguing with you about those forementioned as outstanding pitchers, but I do have to say that I have seen all of them pitch, and I would put Methvin right up there with all of them. I don't care who you are, Last Night was something that I have NEVER seen happen before and I have seen a lot of baseball, facing 19 batters and fanning everyone of them. 1 kid reached on a pb 3rd strike or it would have been a perfect game. Very Rare and difficult accomplishment. I know that it's your opinion, but I really have to say that he definitely belongs right up there with the others mentioned. Peterson is an Outstanding athlete as are all of the others mentioned, I feel Methvin doesn't quite get the Credit he so rightfully deserves at times. Just my 2 cents worth.." Hmm.. I'm pretty sure that's why he didn't say perfect game, because of the two walks. DUH. And yeah Copeland smashed it, but.. STILL AN OUT! And I'm pretty sure that getting struck out 19 times and getting no hits and only putting the ball in play twice is worse than getting beat 20 to 2. :icon_eek:
