What is going on with Trey Metoyer, has he played the last couple of games?

Is this a new staduim or was the old one redone? The surrounding area looks diferent.

How about this ... Let WH and Lee play each other. How would that turn out?? Might be real interesting now but back in the day it would have been a wipeout. WH actually scrimmaged REL one season and it was pretty lopsided and Owens even said on the news that it was a total waste of time and he would never do it again or something like that. Might be pretty fun to watch now ...

At least there have been opposing views on this the last several years. If someone would have started a thread like this 10-12 years ago they would have been laughed smooth off of Smoaky.com ... lol. It sure has made it a lot more fun the last few years.

Now there is some real incentive to sign up ... lol. Who wouldn't jump at the chance to send thier gifted and talented college bound kids to hang out everyday with at-risk students? I guess I could see the benefits to the at-risk group, maybe picking up some of the habits and attitudes of the college bound kids but don't see the logic for the other way around.

I don't get it, why the need for a 3rd HS, are the other two campuses busting at the seams and we need a place to send the overflow? Why get rid of a Jr High to build a new campus in an older neighborhood? Now you displace Jr High students. I will admit I don't follow and understand all the politics in a deal like this but this seems a little stange. In the last 15 years or so there have been so many nice new beautiful state of the art HS's built in so many towns throughout the region and I just wonder why it is so hard to do the same here in Tyler. I'm not talking about a half step attempt but a full blown replacement in a nice area for one of the HS's here in Tyler and then eventually the same for the other campus. If not this option what about a 3rd HS designated as a Sr. High and then have the other two existing campuses for 9th/10th. Maybe Tyler would have been better off to of had just one HS campus all these years like Longview, Lufkin etc. so that it would be a little easier to sell the idea of a new school. Who is this new campus really targeted to?

Does any of this REALLY matter? ... geez!! Johnny Manziel has got to shaking his head in amazement that soooo many people are soooo opinionated on every move he (or his support team) makes. There has got to be other issues going on in the world that carry more weight than if a guy is taking online courses instead of classroom courses or if he wants to trademark a nickname. I'm sure most of us have enough drama and stuff going on in our lives to keep us busy without fretting over a college kid doing his thing. We all know you can't go around pleasing everybody in the world so no need to try. Do your on thing the best you can the best way you know how. I say ... Go Johnny Go!!

My link This guy acts like an "assualt style" weapon will magically make an entrance into a building like no other. Yeah a gun, most any gun could be used to shoot your way in to most buildings with some effort and lots of ammo but he acts like an assult weapon makes it easier or something. Unless the dang thing is full auto there is no difference between an assult style rifle and a normal hunting rifle. It would have been sufficient to say "He penetrated the building by literally shooting an entrance into the building." why is it the people that know the least about things like this are the most most outspoken and stupid??

I would assume that Peacock did not just make the changes to add the difference in salary from AD/HC to his salary (that wouldn't look too smooth) so it had to be that he would take on the additional duties of an AD to his current duties so that a new Coach can come in at the same money as before but with the added benefit of being able to focus completly on football only. I would think this setup would attract some big time coaches. Could this this be the way it is?? ... :blink:

Even though WH made a few mistakes on Offense they did enough to win. Missed tackles, missed tackles, missed tackles. Now the Wildcat "D" did step it up bigtime tonight but it just goes back to some of the basic fundementals that get us burned. There had to be at least 3 maybe 4 giant plays over 5o yards that went for TD's where multiple WH players had their hands on the runner. Always easy to second guess but I sure would have like to seen WH stick with the run more and control the ball and burn clock there at the end. They had a beautiful controlled drive like that earlier in the game and not sure why they abandoned it. Oh well, great game and good luck to both teams!!!

Looking pretty sweet for whoever takes over this program. These guys will be seniors in the new guys 3rd year, just when most programs are starting to buy into the new system and start to roll!!!
