  1. It's this same type of attitude that makes me sick! Man, I can't cuss on here but, I got a few choice words for you-FOR REAL! Don't tell me I don't know football because I don't fully agree with John King's brain #### year after year after YEAR. I was BORN, RAISED and PLAYED this game as a LOBO, son! You better get your mind right and your facts straight before you start running your smart lip! My tax dollars go to L.I.S.D. and John King's fat salary EVERY YEAR and as a Lobo who paid his dues on that same field, I got my God given right to state my opinion. Hell, I didn't tear the man down or what not. I gave MY opinion and MY OPINION is that John King is a GOOD coach. As a matter of fact he's a 3-Time Semi-Finalst type coach. But, guess what! That's where it ends with John King-PERIOD! If, you want your program turned around John King can do it. If, you want a District Championship, John King can do it. You want to JUST get to state and look around with your dumbs halfway in your butt, John King can do it! But, if you want to WIN A STATE TITLE you might want to get on Hwy.149 South and head to Carthage.
  2. We cannot be upset every year anymore when the Dallas Morning News and Texas' Football Dave Campbell's Magazine picks against us. This is a prime example why; we NEVER seem to rise to the occassion when it matters the most.
  3. Longview Loses 28-27. Great season to the Lobos but, I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'm a Lobo fan at heart but, I have lost all confidence in John King as a CHAMPIONSHIP coach. He's a darn GOOD coach and I don't want to diminish none of his great accomplishments but, with the talent we have-this is UNACCEPTABLE!!! THIS RIGHT HERE is what I'm talking about-EVERY YEAR!!! But, this is what our fanbase for the most part wants! When is it going to STOP!!!!??? Henderson has a title now! I mean, Good Grief!!! What are we going to do? Wait until Pine Tree and Nacogdoches win a football state title!!!??? King doesn't need to be fired but, I honestly believe he's more suited as an offensive coordinator.
  4. Our special teams coverage is RIDICULOUSLY HORRIBLE!!! I mean, HORRIBLE!!!
  5. 27-14 Longview. Early 4th. Don't know why we didn't go for the 2pt. conversion. Take the points, I guess!
  6. end of 3rd. 20-14 Longview. STUPID mental mistakes costing us from punching it in the endzone!
  7. .........says a bitter John Tyler jockstrap sniffer.
  8. Buzzfrog, you got to admit it though, you gave these group of kids a PLETHORA of bulletin board material to last for a lifetime. Man, that's why I TRY to always RESPECT my opponent regardless of who and how they've played. Nobody and I mean NOBODY just arrives at this point in the playoffs by CHANCE. Congratulations to Henderson on their State Title!!! Hard fought game by both teams!!!
  9. Henderson, is shooting themselves in the foot now! Got to maintain the intensity, Lions! I tell you what though, Chapel Hill is scrapping for EVERYTHING they got because Henderson ain't giving them jack squat right now except for that blown coverage in the endzone a few minutes ago!
  10. The DMN knows exactly who Longview is. I'm telling you that they intentionally disrespect us because they can. I hope the kids aren't too much into the papers but, on the otherhand, I REALLY hope they read the DMN's picks and overwhelming praise that they give Walsh Jr. and the entire Guyer team and use it as an extra motivational tool. By the way, here's a statement made by Josh Stewart (DB) for Denton Guyer and via The Dallas Morning News: Guyer can't fathom the winning streak growing even to three. The players would never call victory a sure thing, but they plan on avenging the last two meetings. "This year," Stewart said, "it's not happening again." Second time around
  11. Yep, and as a kid myself on the 1997 State team I can tell you that there were a lot of foolish things going on. Running the halls late at night and beating on Coach Bero's door (Yeah, the Head Coach) out of all people, and then making a break for it down the halls Usain Bolt style! Getting drunk (Who in the Hell bought the Liqour!!???) because we sure weren't old enough. Then having to wake up at 7AM; Out of the room and eating breakfast at 8AM; Bullcorning around for about another hour by 9AM just to get our bodies decompressed from all the late night shananigans; Load the bus and arrive at the stadium by 10AM; get off the cramped and crowded bus and into the dressing rooms to listen to the lectures, going over last minute game plans, on the field strecthing, route-running, etc. for about 1 and a half hours by 11:30AM. 30 minutes to game time and you're looking into your best friends faces and it's so quiet that you can hear a mouse licking ice and there are a million and one "What if's" running through your mind. All the good and unfortunately all of the bad things that could go wrong during the game also cross your mind, too. With all that being said, I thinks it's best that we just leave straight from Longview,Texas with nothing else on our minds but, the Denton Guyer Wildcats.
  12. Yeah, you're absolutely right. We got some haters and then we have the Hater Supremes like, Panther89. No where to be found now.
  13. Say, why don't you see if your coach will at the LEAST schedule a SCRIMMAGE game against Longview for this upcoming year.
  14. Man, that's really disappointing. It looks as though Tatum was too busy looking forward to next week instead of taking care of the task that layed before them. Tatum, definitely had the team to win state this year. This is just another case of looking too far ahead. Same thing happened to John Tyler.
